  1. Jackson needs to go. Yesterday we all knew that at least one run was going to score when the bases were loaded since there were no outs. Mike just goes up there and the very first pitch he throws ends up in the seats. Our pitching has been nothing but horrifying.
  2. Big opportunity to put a crooked number up on the board.
  3. Konerko has been struck out too many times.
  4. If what you're saying is true... I'll take that one sentence back Still, Maddux should retire once he gets his 300th win and the season is over.
  5. What makes you think Clement wants to leave the Cubs? I see him sticking around for some time if they make it to the playoffs this year. Prior may be the only one trying free agency or something, but Wood, Clement and Zambrano are staying with the Cubs. I don’t know about Maddux wanting to stay since he’s been with allot of different teams.
  6. I don’t know. You can only talk once the year is over. I am pretty sure Esteban will get us more than 14 wins. Probably not reach 21 again, but get 18. He’s walked away with allot of No Decisions. And if you really think about it (with Koch blowing one of his game and walking with a ND yesterday) he’d probably be 9-3 right now. It all depends on how he helps out his team. So far so good. I believe his salary for this year is $4,000,000? What more can the Sox give him to stick around for next year? In my opinion, I’d like to see him back.
  7. Everything turned the other way around when Dusty Baker came to the North Side and they started getting good players. The former coach of the Cubs didn’t do s***, that’s why they lost so many games and were always out of it. But once Baker came everything changed. The guy has experience since he’s been in the playoffs several times. Now let’s look at our side. We also have a new manager. The young short stop Ozzie Guillen. Are we happy with what he’s done with this team? I sure am. And even if I weren’t happy I know why. Because Ozzie is just a rookie. He has absolutely no experience. Now I’m not saying he is stupid, but since it is his first year I’m pretty sure he knows what his job is. Win. And one more thing. Let’s not forget that Ozzie comes from a World Series champ team, the Florida Marlins. I’m pretty sure the Marlins coach gave Ozzie a couple of pointers and knew that he could be a good manager. That’s why he’s here with us. So I say we also have a good chance of winning the division since we have Ozzie with us.
  8. The attendance should be higher knowing that we have Half-Price Mondays and Pepsi Half-Price Tuesdays. I know those days fall in a weekday, but there should be allot more Sox fans knowing how good their team is playing (that is if you compare them to last year). I hope to see better results after the All- Star Game.
  9. No doubt there’s going to be allot of drunk disgusting Cub fans at the Cell. I’ll be going Saturday and if I see a Cub fan throw a Thomas HR back into the park, I’ll make sure to stick a bat where the sun don’t shine.
  10. Wasn’t Ozzie the bat boy when Baker was coaching over in South America?
  11. All I was saying was... “Win one for grandma.” And so the Sox did. Thank you Valentin.
  12. The starting pitching has to work hard if they want to go deep into a game. I don’t know what happened with Loaiza last night that made him give up so many runs when he was doing so good in the first 4 innings. It reminded me of Garland who had trouble after the 5th.
  13. The Sox really need to get into a winning streak. When’s the last time they won 5 in a roll? Anyways, last night’s game was crazy, but a White Sox Winner is a White Sox Winner. (36-31)
  14. I saw a “Gload Gang” yesterday, but no “ Shingo Crew” to be seen?
  15. The only reliable pitchers I see are Shingo and Marte. I forgot all about that guy
  16. Happy Birthday! Hope you attend a White Sox Winner and go home happy with the result. Pitching matchup CLE: RHP Cliff Lee 6-1, 3.81 ERA in 2004 1-0, 1.80 ERA against CHI in 2004 1-0, 2.61 ERA lifetime against CHI CHI: LHP Mark Buerhle 7-1, 4.07 ERA in 2004 First game against CLE in 2004 4-5, 4.90 ERA lifetime against CLE The pitching match up is very good, but if the offense is there to help Buehrle out like it always has been, than Mark will get his 8th win
  17. Not good. Matt Miller replaces Rick White who has 1.80 ERA
