QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 10:00 PM) LOL ok. What is she just going to be a shadow DNC chair, where nobody reports that she has left but is secretly just on CNN? CNN says she is staying on for convention unpaid. See explicit paragraph. I'm sure deadline has it in the bag thou "DNC Vice Chair Donna Brazile will serve as interim chair through the election, it was announced Sunday. She had been a CNN political commentator, but CNN and Brazile have mutually agreed to suspend their contract, effective immediately, although she will remain on air during the convention week in an unpaid capacity, CNN said. CNN will revisit the contract once Brazile concludes her role." So she is staying on CNN. Alright then.

Deadline reported she is back with CNN or never left, one of the two. I wouldn't trust cnn on this story, given their close ties to the situation.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 09:38 PM) I'm guessing you aren't providing a link because you are so sure this is reported? This must be coming from the Pravda https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/757369719771033600

QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 09:22 PM) So this hasn't happened...did you mistake CNN for the DNC? ? Nope. Brazile is actually back with CNN since she was removed as DNC chair. This is per Wikileaks themselves. They could be wrong, but they certainly seem to be in the know here.

DWS has been given a job with the Clinton campaign. Come on ladies, at least wait, I don't know, a week, 24 hours even.

DWS replacement was also just removed due to more stuff coming to light with Wikileaks. We're on DNC chair number 3 today.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 01:06 PM) Wait so they are throwing Deb under the bus? She just resigned from the sound of it, so they got someone to fall on the sword. Wonder what position she gets with the Clinton Foundation.

In reasonse to Wikileaks, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been removed from speaking at the convention. Sad!

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 10:26 AM) Wouldn't they have also revealed rigged votes, which were commonly thrown around? We shall see! Julian Assange has promised releases every day this week in honor of the convention going on. I doubt he'd start with the best stuff, but I also doubt if they were rigging elections that they were dumb enough to do it over email.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 10:12 AM) link? QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 10:12 AM) link? Here's a decent aggregate of stuff: https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/...eak_megathread/ The first day of releases was 20k emails and 8k attachments. You can search on wikileaks for yourself, that's probably the best way. If nothing else, it's a entertaining read. A lot of the tone of a teenage girls writing them; it's like Veep come to real life.

These leaked emails from the Democratic party are mindlessly entertaining. You got them sending interns disguised as protestors to Trump events, media outlets with writers filing stories to the DNC ahead of their own editors, placing fake job ads for The Trump Organization looking for hot women, and on and on and on. But what happened to Bernie Sanders is disgusting. He never had a chance vs a rigged system, and these emails prove the collusion the DNC had with the Clinton campaign. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is an evil human.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 01:01 PM) Do you have a source on this one? All I can find is him being blocked from entering Sheldon Adelson's suite. Adelson didn't back Cruz. That is just from talking to his people. It could have been that they were referencing in the confusion though. It was pretty chaotic last night, and all week.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 12:37 PM) How so? Ted Cruz' base is the supremely devout - to religion and to conservatism. Knocking Donald Trump, who is basically a fraud in both those areas, doesn't hurt him with that base. Despite Trump's recent bumps in polling (which are really more Hillary drops), he's still unlikely to win, which means Cruz in 2020 can work the "Trump was a POS and we lost because of it. You should have picked me" narrative. The guys who fell in line behind this insanity won't be able to make that argument. His base has abandoned him. I've talked to lots of Cruz delegates and his biggest donors last night. They are no longer on board. He got taken out of his own suite last night because his donors didn't want him there. Trump has to lose by double digits now to save Cruz. Anything less, the Republican party blames Cruz for not getting getting behind the candidate. And if Trump wins, well, then he's really screwed.

Maybe Putin isn't quite Satan, buts it's hilarious to mock that ridiculous comparison then literally post an article titled "It's Official: Hillary Clinton Is Running Against Vladimir Putin". I mean come on, lol. But #bothsides and all that.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 15, 2016 -> 10:51 AM) So Summer League report: Felicio and Portis are far and away best players on court, good to see of second year players, but like, the bare minimum of what you should see. Really would be nice if Portis can handle 5 in this league. Dinwiddie/Grant...not dominating. Stats are a small advantage in favor of Dinwiddie, but he also just looks a lot lot better than Grant.

Asking Dana White was a no brainer and one of the speeches I'm most looking forward to. This is a guy who worked with Trump to take a company off its deathbed and then just turned it into the biggest sports sale in history this past weekend. He's extremely smart, timely/topical, charismatic, and will stand out in a sea of political speeches grabbing headlines where there wouldn't be any. They'd be incredibly stupid not to grab him. Everyone is expecting Ivanka to steal the show. Hope she lives up to it. She's awesome.
