  1. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 01:32 PM) "The Cavs expressed to Paul that, after their discussions with the Timberwolves, doing a deal "would not be easy," according to one source. That source also expressed that the Cavs were reluctant to include No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins in any potential deal." http://msn.foxsports.com/ohio/story/source...erwolves-070914 ya gl with that Meh if I'm Cleveland that's exactly how you play it up until it's time for him to pack his bags. Gilbert even posted on his twitter today something like see Wiggins for the first time in a Cavs uni
  2. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) I also expect NOTHING to be done by today. This is the "lets make everyone sit at their computer and update twitter every 20 second just for nada to be decided" day. Better than yesterday's absolutely nothing happened and there wasn't even anything to refresh twitter about day.
  3. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 01:12 PM) I'm ok with big 3 going back to Miami. They are very beatable with an aging Wade. None of the moves they have done are that scarcy. Lebron in Cleveland will actually be scarier, if they can make the right moves. Maybe not this year, but long term. I agree and yet I still want Lebron to leave because f*** the Heat, f*** Pat Riley, and f*** Dwayne Wade. (Until he signs on a discount to play with melo here)
  4. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 11:38 AM) With Rose, this team is better then all of the teams you mention. Without Rose, probably in their pack with the Pacers being better. Without Rose I don't see the Bulls being better than any of the teams I mentioned. With Rose and no other moves I'm still taking Lebrons team easily and the Pacers too.
  5. No matter what is stretching it. Lebrons team will be better. If Pacers retain Lance I'll put them ahead of us easily. Not sold on being better than Washington. Nets are in the discussion a year older but healthier and rid of Kidd. I'd put us ahead of them though.
  6. Bulls FO is one of the few front offices in sports where trying is good enough.
  7. LeBron James reached out to two vet free agents last week about joining him, IF he left Miami, sources tell Yahoo. Mike Miller was one. 11:19am - 9 Jul 14 -woj. Cavs also reached out to Mike Miller.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 11:06 AM) Ok, then I dont want to see you jacked up about Illinois football improving incrementally.
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 10:45 AM) I think the Melo holding out for Lebron is regarding this : If Lebron signs a 2 year deal with another opt out after 1, he will sign with NYK and hope Lebron opts out and joins knicks next year with their uber cap space. That was brought up by Blogabull and makes sense. IF he chooses long term in miami or cleveland, that is good for bulls in whatever limited sense good could mean at this point. However, I think Bulls fans should hope cleveland sucks so that our swapped first rounder is better. Re: Love to cleveland, Danny Ainge how has 9 first round picks in the next 4 years. They need Cleveland to be between 15 and 30 and the Bulls to be better than that. It's not worth very much at all.
  10. Espn Cleveland reporting Love to Cleveland is extremely close now.
  11. Cleveland just traded Jarrett Jack, Tyler Zeller and a Russian dude to dump cap space.
  12. Chris Sheridan says there's a 90% chance Lebron lands in Cleveland
  13. DFA him and give Phegley his last gasp up here. There's 0 reason for Flowers to be here.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 07:10 AM) This seems like great info. This must be why Wade is in Vegas ready to pitch LeBron, because he already has his blessing. That Vegas meet was two nights ago to be fair. But now he's meeting with Riley today.
  15. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jul 8, 2014 -> 11:44 PM) I'm sure there have been some all-star catchers and some good defensive catchers who have lead the league in passed balls. That doesn't mean much at all. Of course it does especially when you combine it with him being one of the worst hitters in the league and none of his other metrics ranking too highly. Now people are calling him "good"? They are suffering from some Stockholm syndrome.
  16. 3 games under, 5 to play. Wednesday: Sale vs TBA?- Chalk this up as a win. Boston doesn't look like they are trying in the least bit. Thursday: Quintana vs Lester- Lester has been beastly this year but it's clear the offense behind him doesn't care again. Another W. Friday: Noesi vs Kluber?- probably lose this one. Saturday: Carroll vs Masterson?- Masterson has been nothing short of horrific this year. Carroll has been better but we'll call it a tossup. Sunday: Danks vs Bauer?- Bauer sucks. Danks has been better. Easy W. There you have it. The jinx of all jinx threads. 4-1 and back to .500. Then when we get back we get to sweep Houston at home 3 games. Then we are in the thick of it...As well as screwing ourselves over for the trade deadline.
  17. Also airing a cm punk special right after. Him and Sting gonna be here for Summerslam
  18. Main Event was good tonight. Decent last man standing match. But later Sandow dressed up as HBK.
  19. From espn Cruz turned down a spot so safe to say it won't be him. For some reason mlb is dragging this on until Thursday. No word on who Brian Dozier blew to get in.
