I'd recommend Lincoln Park for a 23 year old or south Lakeview for slightly better pricing. You're right in the middle of everything then. Morr than anything, just make sure you live as close as possible to the brown/red line. That is the absolute best advice I can give. Wrigleyville gets old really fast. Just reminds me of Western Avenue now if you're coming from the Southside. Despite being pretty close the Lincoln Park scene seems a lot different than Wrigleyville and I much prefer it. Either way if you're in Lincoln Park you're close to both, as well as being a short cab ride to River North which IMO is by far the best nightlife in the city (as well as being expensive as hell for a 23 year old to live).

White Sox scouting Yanks, Jays, Sawks re: John Danks trades
More scouting sightings: As the White Sox listen to offers on John Danks, they've been eyeballing the farm systems of the Yankees, Blue Jays and Red Sox. -Jayson Stark.

TNA talent and WWE: Kurt Angle- can't pass a physical. No chance Vince takes him as a wrestler. The Wolves- Fought in NXT already, WWE needs tag teams. Best tag team in the states right now they should be back with wwe as long as they want to be. Bobby Roode- probably the ultimate tna talent. Good look, good on the mic. Perfect fit for WWE except he's 37 so I don't see it happening unfortunately. Gail Kim- wwe could use her but I believe she hates wwe so no. Bully Ray - With how good he is on the mic I could see him as a much needed heel but again age is a factor here. 43. Him and Devon should get legends contracts. Jeff Hardy- If, and it's a big if, his personal life is figured out than he could fill a nice role in the midcard. He's 36 but don't think that'll matter much given how established he is and already used to wwe. Bobby Lashley- 38, probably wants to have a mma career so don't see it. MVP- good on the mic, ended with wwe on good terms, but again probably too old to do anything with. Joe- he really let himself go. Really needs to get in shape if him to wwe will finally happen. Eric Young and James Storm are decent enough but probably longshots.

This Thursday: I've only recently gotten into tna. I know it's been crap mostly but the last two weeks have been awesome. Sad to see it maybe go I guess. They really should have relocated up Northeast or to England where there are desperate needs for big promotions. Never watch any indies but have of course heard of Devitt. Good to hear he's finally signed. Maybe wwe can give him a real budget for his attire and entrance and see what he can do.

Apparently 3 huge industry related stories are set to break this week. One is the network numbers. No idea on the other 2. Spike/TNA situation answered? Vince moving aside?

Peavy to San Fran
QUOTE (ROC Sox Fan @ Jul 26, 2014 -> 11:54 AM) How do the prospects compare to Avi? Escobar was 56 in Baseball America's preseason top 100. So better by the single, limited metric. He's struggled this year but that's as a 22 year old pitcher in the PCL. Quite the return for Peavy

Only 5 back in the Wild Card
QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jul 26, 2014 -> 10:03 AM) I don't think there's much of an argument that Sale is better than Felix at the moment. Sale has the better record, WHIP, more complete games, walks less people, gives up less hits, doesn't throw a s*** ton of wild pitches. Felix has the better ER numbers, strikes out slightly more, and has pitched 7 more starts due to Sale's DL trip. There's certainly an argument to be made for Sale but the numbers are all very close except for starts made.
