  2. You've got to be f***ing kidding me
  3. Mickey has gone from my least favorite to favorite character. So much better when Ian isn't around. I didn't watch the last episode but I hope it stats that way.
  4. I think the Illini get in if we can win three games. Obviously a lot, lot easier said then done when you might not win one. But I'm going to go and get ahead of myself anyways. Right now Illinois is 18-13 with a rpi of 62 and sos of 33. I would imagine going 3-1 in the Big Ten tournament would bump those computer numbers up to 50ish and late 20s. The record would be 21-14. They would also have road/neutral wins vs Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio State or Nebraska again. I doubt any bubble team would be able to come close to those wins. Last ten does not factor in which hurts us, though neither does conference record which helps.
  5. Incredible Bryan segment. Good to see WWE woke up.
  6. LeBron has no chance against Butler. J4L is so mad.
  7. Ekeyyyyyyyyyy do we got a chance at the 7? Was at a bar so no commetary. Would be so much than the 8 9
  8. Yeah what cruise is that because I want to go.
  9. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 7, 2014 -> 06:12 AM) So I knocked out Denver and Phoenix, and I'm headed to Savannah next week. Potential trips the rest of the year: Toronto Orlando Nashville New Orleans Seattle Los Vegas Yosemite Never been to any of the above as an adult. Thoughts? I've been to Orlando, New Orleans, and Vegas within the past year. Also been to Yosemite before that. The former are my 3 favorite places to travel in this country. Vegas and New Orleans have to be the 2 funnest places on this planet in terms of party atmosphere. You can't have a bad time there but I have to pick Vegas especially if you've never been there. Go with a group of guys and you'll have the time of your life. I've been to Orlando about 30 times including 2 weeks ago. Love it still, but man it is just getting insanely expensive for what I want to do there. Obviously a completely different experience than Vegas/New Orleans but I still have lots of fun there. I'd recommend everything about Universal from their awesome hotels and perks, and now they have the best theme park in the world IMO with Islands of Adventure. Yosemite was really cool when I went. Hiking up to get to all the different waterfalls was really fun and rewarding. I'm not really an outdoors person so I don't think I'd go back there but I could see how someone would fall in love. Toronto sounds awesome. Everything I hear is that it is a world class city. Can't say I have an interest in Seattle or Nashville. Nashville seems like a party city but I'm guessing you can find a lot better spots without leaving your backyard of Chicago and f*** country music. Ugh.
  10. True or false: What are the Bears chances of getting Bennett?
  11. So it comes out today that Steve Balmer was ousted from Microsoft because their investors weren't happy with Microsoft becoming a hardware company. The xbox one has been a borderline flop so far and it is certainly something that'll be looked at by the new ceo. Nintendo is doing worse with the Wii u. Their handheld division is their strength still but would not be surprised to see their CEO gone soon. Sony is having to go through a complete restructure, including getting rid of their SCEA CEO today. Considering he helped found the playstation brand as a whole and the PS4 seemingly being successful, this is very odd. But Sony is a pretty terrible struggling company so I don't know what to think. Anyways I wonder if we see a complete changeover in the video game market since no one can figure it out right now.
  12. QUOTE (iamshack @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 07:11 PM) The best are usually at Hard Rock or Encore. As for Vegas, you guys should check out East Fremont, which is the side of Fremont on the other side of Las Vegas Blvd. This is generally where some of the younger locals hang out. Tony Hsieh, the Zappos CEO and founder, has invested hundreds of millions of his own cash into redeveloping the downtown area and the result is new bars and restaurants are popping up in that area every week. Good places to check out are Commonwealth (my favorite LV bar), the Griffin, Park on Fremont, and La Comida. There is also something new called Container Park that recently opened and has some good eat and drink options. East Fremont is generally my favorite area to go as a local. As for the Strip, there is a new thing opening soon called The Linq (between Harrah's and the old Imperial Palace, essentially) which should have some pretty cool new things...one being Brooklyn Bowl, which I am excited about. Is the linq ferris wheel open yet? If not do you know when?
  13. Any recommendations for some day pool parties to hit up? Might be a little cold come March 22nd but we will see.
  14. I'm surprised Omogrosso and Bassitt did not make the top 27 pitchers
  15. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 05:43 PM) Interesting, I'm going later this month, any specific recommendations for over there? I'm going too for the first round of the tournament. As for downtown vegas you just start at one end and walk to the other and see where it takes you. A lot like the main strip but a lot tighter (entrances on the street, no 5 minute walkups) and they now closed off the streets running though it so it's just one giant path way. There's stuff like 2.50 minimum tables, 50 cent beers at certain places. It's a blast. Golden Nugget is the biggest casino along with Binions. They also got a light show that constantly goes on when it's darker and a zip line where you can zoom across the street. Google pictures of new Freemont St andyyou'll see what it's all about. They just redid the whole thing a few years back. Anyways weve gone each of the last two years and had a lot of fun spending 4 or 5 hours over there, particulary St. Patricks day last year. Definitely plan on going back over there.
  16. QUOTE (The Gooch @ Mar 1, 2014 -> 09:58 PM) I'm heading to Vegas again in April. Staying at the Wynn, gonna try to see Avicii at XS or Encore Beach Club. Somebody always has some Vegas tips no matter where you ask, so anyone recommend anything? We are traveling 4 guys deep, so anything from nightclubs/bars to strip clubs, etc. I love the newish downtown vegas. Go there if you got an afternoon to kill. It'll also save you a pretty penny since everything over there is ridiculously cheap compared to the main strip.
  17. If it turned out to be John Groce himself I would laugh.
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 03:46 PM) They made every 3 that went up. s***'s historically well. Yeah, trying to make this worse than it really is. We lost by 30 percent more than we ever have at Assembly Hall. I'm not trying to make it worse than it is. It was just that bad.
  19. QUOTE (Boogua @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 01:55 PM) It seems like you're making the loss out to be more than it is. What's the difference between losing by 15 points and 30 points? A blowout is a blowout. It was a historically bad loss in terms of point differential, but so what? Losses to teams like miami (ohio), tennessee state, UIC (in chicago), and bradley over the years were worse in my opionion. The program is still headed in the right direction. The only difference between this time today and this time yesterday is that the crazy hope of sneaking into the tournament is gone, outside of winning the BTT. We lost by 30 percent more than we ever have on that floor. That's insane considering the hundreds and hundreds of games there. I just want to be competitive again at home. Hopefully that comes with the renovations.
  20. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 04:50 AM) Exactly, not that hard to understand. I didn't say it was hard to understand. We we played awful and we're not prepared in the least bit. It was a historically bad loss. Inexcusable.
  21. Inexcusable to lose like that. Hope we can still make the nit
  22. Perfect season for Curie. Seriously I know some personnel was missing but that's one of the biggest upsets I've heard of.
  23. Seth Rollins is incredible. This Raw is incredible.
