is Madrigal that much better than Hernandez in your mind?

well that model should tell you Madrigal has been hurt all 3 years

but he's been incredible this year and hopefully continues that for rest of the year. 1 year at 16 million for a great closer is not a bad deal for teams to consider this offseason.

Wouldn't rule out not bringing back Hernandez this offseason and signing someone like E. Escobar

no, why you ask?

As someone mentioned earlier, can people admit they were making ridiculous excuses for him because he didn't play like they thought he would?

Hot take....he would have still been probably their 7th or 8th best offensive weapon

I bet you they trade Kimbrel this offseason

Kimbrel is the most dominant pitcher I've seen in baseball this year.

there's a reason he was available the last two offseasons. I don't think he was what they thought he'd be.

that's the thing, he's the favorite for a lot of people that value batting average more than slugging stats

you joke but I wouldn't rule it out

and at this point, there has to be concerns about his injury history. The funny thing is Hoerner and him are basically the same player.

Haha. I can’t keep rooting against Madrigal. Great trade

Me too

Was just on MLB Network and kind of thought it wasn’t likely

He’s legit

He didn’t think it was likely though

Baron, thanks for posting all these

Kimbrel has way more value on the market than you think

And they have Wisdom who they like at 3rd

Yeah asking for way, way more than that. Probably would have to give up Vaughn for those two

Kopech isn’t starting this year

Seems like R.Iglesias is a way better fit

Or they turn around and trade him this offseason
