I was trying to talk myself into being ok with this until I read his thoughts on data and analytics in that article. God help us if Jerry gets his way.
This would 100 pct be a Jerry move. If he does that, it better mean a payroll increase as well. I’m just hopeful the talent amassed is too good for any manager to mess up.

I would prefer not to hire Hinch or Cora, just like I would have preferred the Sox didn’t sign Melky or Grandal. If the Sox truly feel that Hinch is the best fit for this team though, then I will get on board.
