MLB 2020-21 off season catch all
Still can’t believe a team like the Astros hasn’t signed him and told him to throw his slider way more than he has and ditch the change up. He will throw well I’m sure in the showcase.

Joc to Cubs
I don’t want to see Eaton play against LHP either. Engel should be that part of the platoon.

Garbage dump pitchers I don't *like* like but like more than garbage
Counsell is very aggressive in terms of going to the pen

Hector wrong. Again. - Cruz back with Min
Saw a video last night but can’t locate now from Wolfson saying Dodgers are interested in Cruz if DH is around. Also confirmed Sox have considered Cruz and he won’t sign anywhere for a while.

Is there a belief Harold that Folty’s velocity will return? Also, Jesse Rogers reported today Cubs are interested in Arrieta, Trevor Williams and Chase Anderson.

Want to turn a strong bullpen into an average bullpen? Have two pitchers that can’t give you quality innings at the back of your rotation.

Cease and Lopez were two of the worst pitchers in baseball last year. Having them both in the rotation to start the year for a contending team is awful. Don’t forget the offenses the Sox will face will be better this year, as the Central offenses were a disgrace.

Joc to Cubs
Signed for same as Eaton. Hahn messed up badly.

MLB Pipeline Top 100
Same as his fastball

Dodgers sign Bauer (3/102, opt-outs, 40-45-17)
Followed by Rachel Luba doing a vlog to let us know she’s going running and then sleeping, but first let me tell you all the flavors of a Built Bar

Dodgers sign Bauer (3/102, opt-outs, 40-45-17)
Rips it up and throws it over the CF wall of course

This might be dumb question, but Folty is a MiLB deal right?
-
Madrigal 3000 hits "very reachable"
About as reachable for him as a 9 ft basketball rim.

What happened with him? I read where Twins have interest in him also

Keith Law's Top 100, 2 White Sox make the list
Bullpen for sure in 2021

Keith Law's Top 100, 2 White Sox make the list
I don’t get having Marquez a top 100 but not Crochet

Jerry Reinsdorf is cheap
I think the following are all quite likely: - Sox didn’t save as much during the rebuild as you think due to awful attendance and sponsorships - Sox lost a lot of money in 2020 - Jerry doesn’t think they will have fans this year - He knows there will be a strike in 2021
-
Jerry Reinsdorf is cheap
Keuchel didn’t exactly look healthy last year with his back.
-
Jerry Reinsdorf is cheap
This team as currently constructed has no chance to cover 162 starts.
-
Jerry Reinsdorf is cheap
Sox had a chance to absolutely stack their roster this offseason. If you are a Twins fan, you should breathe a sigh of relief the Sox didn’t get Springer or Bauer.

MLB 2020-21 off season catch all
Pirates might be close to trading Frazier. I know it’s not likely but Frazier and Kuhl or Brault for some prospects helps some of the holes that remain for the Sox.

The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Funny enough, Wainwright has an offer from the Padres https://www.stltoday.com/sports/baseball/professional/martinez-uses-winter-balls-biggest-stage-to-showcase-strength-launch-bid-for-cards-rotation/article_ad6f7a29-b443-5be1-9c21-5f5db79e6dea.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true

Also I guarantee we hear sooner rather than later that Sox fans shouldn’t complain because they’re spending more money in 2021 than they did in 2020 (due to slashed salaries)
