If Cubs pay like 25 mil with Heyward, you would be paying Yu and him about 33 million. Bauer and Joc will cost about 10 mil more than that.

I think Jerry saw what happened in the postseason and refuses for the team to get caught without a legit postseason starter they can rely upon for at least 3 games

Heyward is the great defensive RF who can hit RHP they seek. His contract is awful but it offsets the price for Yu.

Rangers are delusional....everyone said so at the deadline. If they’re including Gallo, the price will be insane. Do you really think they want to open their new stadium (with fans) having a horrible team with no marketable studs. Gallo is the face of that franchise now.
