9/24: Pale Hose vs. They Should Be Called the Spiders (5:10 CT)
Optimistic it’s not too bad. He wasn’t limping badly coming off the field.

Yolmer looks good at the plate

Looked like same ankle that’s been bugging Eloy

That ball sure looked fair

Nomar! Shockingly I’m more confident in him than most in the lineup

That was pathetic...weak swing after weak swing

Great to see Yoan hitting the ball harder of late! Need EE to make contact.

It’s really in their best interest to lose. No thanks to facing the Indians pitching in a 3 game series.

Farther than any ball our center fielders have hit this month

Yeah so many easy outs in the order right now. It’s like 5 of them just forgot how to hit at the same time. Truthfully I have no idea how this team puts together a run in the postseason.

This offense is hopeless right now

I thought the offense looked bad vs the Twins.

Sorry, but if you think JR is going to fire his manager after making the postseason given the financial situation teams are facing, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

I know I said it annoyingly too much, but it was obvious the Sox needed their lefty hitters to get hot in order to help against these tough righties. It hasn’t happened

Sign me up for even getting to a 3rd game, easy decision

But that didn’t take into account the caliber of starting pitching the Sox would have to face. This slump isn’t shocking, to be honest.

This offense has fallen apart though. I get what you’re saying about the roller coaster aspect of the season, but they will be done a week from today if some of these hitters don’t turn it around.

Magic Number: Playoffs - 0; Division - 4
And then Darvish vs Cease on Friday and if it goes like it seems, Sox are in 3rd

Magic Number: Playoffs - 0; Division - 4
Cleveland is in prime position to fly past the Sox

To be fair, resting some of the starters would make the team better.

I think they’re playing hard, just not very focused and too many unprofessional at bats. I also think we’re facing dynamite pitching, which is terrible timing for a lineup where half the team is slumping horribly. This team would be having an epic collapse if not for the new postseason rule.

Honestly reminds me of the 2016 series in KC where they blew that awful game in the 9th inning...and when they blew it the next game, you just shrugged your shoulders.

Yep, very well said. Sucks to see how they have pushed the main guys so hard the last few days but then let the worst pitchers on the roster lose the game.
