Screw this team...what a joke. This is what you get letting this coaching staff remain intact

Not sure why they’re having him pitch from the stretch

Cease has no control from the stretch. Noticed it warming up as well.

Bat him 2nd or 3rd, wherever you project him when you’re contending. Hate him batting 4th.

Yep bunting in the first against this awful Twins offense is a brilliant move

Abreu showing his famous defensive ability. How was that given a hit?

He was killing the ball in BP. Nelson Cruz put on a show.

Also watching Giolito throw in person....the lack of arm swing is quite something. Just hope his shoulder holds up.

2019 Trade Deadline Predictions
You’re right, no one else over the last few years ever questioned his ability to minimize his pitch count.

2019 Trade Deadline Predictions
Cause that’s not the type of pitcher he is. I’ve always compared him to Rich Harden. Thing is, I would rather he be an effective 5 inning pitcher throwing gas than trying to make him be a cookie-cutter starter that paces himself.

Teams are interested in Nova? Trade him!
Brewers desperately need starting pitching, as well as late inning relief help. It just seems destined that the Sox get Corey Ray.

Lambs to the slaughter? We look to our shepherd Giolito as he faces Berrios and the Twins 8:10 EST
You can’t honestly believe Hahn has done a good job the last 3 years? The trades have worked out well, but the free agent signings have been a disaster for the most part. He’s done a truly terrible job at finding potential pieces on a contending trade from deals outside the big 3 pieces. Everyone likes to compare the Sox rebuild to the Astros and Cubs, but those GMs could have only dreamed of having guys like Sale, Q and Eaton to deal. Instead they struck gold trading FA signings like Feldman, whereas seemingly half of Hahn’s FA signings vanish from baseball after a year or so.

Will you be mad if the Sox do not seriously try to move Abreu?
At least he knows the shortest path from one spot to another spot is a straight line

Have a feeling he gets packaged with Colome to the Brewers

Probably, unless Nelson Cruz is a poster also

Yoan looked good at the plate, but Giolito getting destroyed is what made tonight a “bad” game for the rebuild. But yes, the talent in this current lineup is as bad as I can remember

Long story short, I vehemently disagree. Hahn’s been comically bad as a GM.

Conforto is a significantly better fit, even if he costs a lot more.

I thought that was a pretty impressive 3 run outing. Keep him up for rest of the year.
