One other thing to keep in mind with the catching duo is Quero is way, way better against LHP than RHP. Teel is way better against RHP. Should be a productive situation.

Quero is a tiny dude for a catcher and already had a back injury. Not getting Teel in the deal because of Quero’s existence would have been foolish. The Sox are so far away from trying to compete, they just need to keep stockpiling legit major leaguers
