There was a report he wanted 6 or 7 years for 25-30 mil per coming into the offseason. I think he's going to be disappointed.

Not too seriously. Harper is clearly telling teams exactly what they want to hear in these meetings to make them think they have a chance. I see no reason for him to sign short-term deal with a pretty bad Giants team in an awful hitting park.

Because if they really offered him that, it means Sox offer isn’t as ridiculously low as some reported if they’re still in contention. This report wasn’t some breaking news that they just offered him this. It also reiterates though that Hahn can’t be negotiating trying to get Manny for lowest possible price. We don’t have “home field advantage” in this negotiation.

Luis Robert and Nick Madrigal. Bad years from them and the farm system goes from a strength to a weakness after likely graduations this year.

Also, it’s quite funny how many times a day people ask him when will Manny sign, and he hasn’t responded once.
