Clearly no way to prove this, but I'm willing to bet every team in baseball had Fulmer ranked higher than Buehler. Buehler's health was always an issue, and I have a very, very hard time seeing the Sox picking someone that that high that they know will likely need TJS sooner than later.

Yonder also said he's already started training with Abreu. As for Manny, he said it's obviously Manny's decision but he of course will try to push him to the Sox.

FWIW, Yonder was on 670 today and said he's spending Christmas and New Year's with Manny. Yonder is a fantastic interview.

Just wanted to get out of Bailey's contract while giving their 2019 team a chance to compete. I don't love the deal for them, but if they know they're about to get a few premier pitchers locked up in the next few weeks, they could have a pretty damn good roster. The team that should really be pissed is the Pirates. They have no chance in that division.

Reds are going to make some more moves it appears, as they're going to try to win. I don't think it's the right move, but they have some talent on that roster. The NL Central is absolutely loaded.

what you have to be able to do is develop your own offensive players. The Astros/Cubs/Braves/Indians have done that. We know the Sox are horrendous at this, and last year wasn't very inspiring at the major league level. It's fine though, the staff changes at the big league level will help fix things.

The ironic thing is that a Stanton to Dodgers trade with Yanks then signing Harper makes all the sense in the world, but it will never happen.

If Dodgers run out of room, I wouldn't mind a smaller trade of getting Toles and giving him some at bats in the outfield.
