want to lose....I believe that's on Renteria's resume for "strengths"

Should be fun next 4 games against a high scoring offense

I'm going to say probably 95% of us on here didn't want the Hahn/KW front office to be the ones to lead the rebuild.

Can I get an alert when there's actually something important added to this story? Thanks

Also notice how perfect their defensive positioning has been the last two nights? Definitely plays into how well their starters have performed this year.

I absolutely get that, but why are we giving those guys at bats? No reason Collins isn't getting at bats at DH and Mendick playing 2nd base. This lineup looks like a first year rebuilding team, not one that is hoping the window is open the next year.

Deja vu to the Giolito start at Tampa

frustrating thing is it's going to be impossible to finish in the top 7 of the draft, despite how awful this roster currently is.

Well that was a terrible time for a hanger. This team sucks right now

Banuelos is Arrieta though

I just can't get over how stupid Yolmer was in his at bats tonight. Chasing curve after curve way off the plate. He really should be DFA and give Mendick some at bats.

Just be grateful he was never the key piece in any of the major trades the Sox made a few years ago. And holy shit has Yolmer's at bats been pathetic tonight.

These hitters swing at so many pitches out of the zone. It's kind of amazing they're actually major leaguers.

McCann has turned into Courtney Hawkins since the ASB. Almost a 50% K rate.

Nice positioning there on Castro

Quality at bats the last two nights (and nearly every game since the ASB)

Was a really nice line drive down the RF line.

I don't get the Sox positioning. Rojas hits the ball to RF 1/3 of the time, yet Yolmer is playing him up the middle. Did they really think he was going to pull a 98 mph fastball?

sure he has nothing to work with, with this lineup...but the team's inability to take a walk yet striking out at an insane rate the last few years isn't a ringing endorsement of his teachings.

How many offensive players will still be in the majors in two years on this current roster? I'm saying Garcia, Abreu, Yoan and McCann as the only sure things.

Can Steverson be promoted to assistant to the GM also?

Nice safety swing on a first pitch curve

Really sharp sliders

And refuses to swing at fastballs down the plate

My god this ump is a joke.
