  1. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 17, 2018 -> 02:19 AM) 3-49 Lots of strikeouts and weak contact included. Can't recall a lot of loud outs in that
  2. Way to run Delmonico in case he dropped it. Guy will slide for a ball ten feet from him but can't jog to first
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 17, 2018 -> 01:43 AM) whitesoxdave reporting Ryan Cordell may have a broken arm Engel has nine lives
  4. Amazing how bad this team looks against offspeed pitches. At least Yoan had a great inning
  5. QUOTE (ChiSoxJon @ Apr 17, 2018 -> 12:56 AM) His defense was stellar with KAN, including arm Some podcast prior to season said he made Collins look like a Gold Glover
  6. QUOTE (ChiSox1917 @ Apr 17, 2018 -> 01:50 AM) Has Mize jumped above Singer in terms of the Sox draft board? Given Mize's health issues, I'd much prefer Singer. Easily Mize over Singer
  7. QUOTE (GenericUserName @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 10:39 PM) In this quick article about the draft, Scott Merkin says that Hostetler was in Wisconsin scouting a game for a draft prospect earlier this week. Can anyone think of anyone else playing in Wisconsin this last week besides Kelenic? That's what my mind first jumped too, but I could be forgetting someone. Hostetler also said they are down to 8-10 names for #4 at this point. If the Wisconsin thing is Kelenic, that would mean the list probably includes him, Swaggerty, Bohm, and Mize as names we've been connected to plus Mize who everyone says has separated himself. I would be shocked if McClanahan and Gilbert aren't included
  8. 10 errors now for Bohm, fielding percentage near .870. Again not sure what's considered good or bad for a 3b in college but he has seemingly made like 6-8 of those in last few weeks

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 03:42 AM) That's a hell of a prediction for those first three with Robert having no at bats here on the mainland outside of ST and Micker never being healthy. Eloy is obviously the bessss though. I would say Robert has some health concerns to go with Adolfo

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 02:23 AM) I am quite confident that 4 of Eloy/Robert/Adolfo/Rutherford/Basabe will be solid MLB players 3 would be a great outcome

QUOTE (GenericUserName @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 02:19 AM) Alternatively, adding another outfielder would give us a definite area of strength to trade from rather than a gamble that a draft pick will help the areas of weakness. Completely understand and respect that viewpoint

QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 12:54 AM) I’m getting excited for the OF crop the Sox seem to have. I will get yelled at for this, but I hope they take Bohm or Madrigal instead of Swaggerty due to this

    And now Adolfo!

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 12:08 AM) He's gotten at least one strikeout with it...fb from 96/97 to low 100’s according to Charlotte radio guys. They keep messing up if it's a slider or changeup

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 12:59 AM) Was just about to say it would have been cool to see the last batter see a 2-2 change up. He got the out, but he’s not a finished product. Looks way more comfortable against righties. He has damn good command of his fastball
  17. fathom replied to flavum's topic in FutureSox Board
    Kopech's changeup is not good
  18. fathom replied to flavum's topic in FutureSox Board
Kopech looks good. Lost his command for two batters but he's hitting the glove for the most part
  19. Legit worst meltdown of all time. Cubs have 9 runs on two balls leaving the infield
  20. Braves manager sure blew this game. Their fans hate him
  21. McClanahan with a very rough start. Seems like his velocity was down. As for Bohm, he continues to rake. One thing to keep an eye on is he seems to be making a lot of errors of late.
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 23, 2018 -> 06:56 PM) Can I say f*** Jay Paterno without even reading it? Because, f*** him. He came across so poorly in the HBO movie
  23. QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 13, 2018 -> 03:06 AM) I am somewhat concerned that Yoan does not understand that pitches in the strike zone are strikes and will be called against him. He spends a lot of time admiring them, perhaps enjoying the arc in their motion, or the whizzing sound as it passes by, and very little time swinging at them. He's currently a guess hitter that can't hit offspeed pitches when he looks for them and is fouling off hitable fastballs. Currently, his hit tool and bat control are non-existent. He was simply horrible all around tonight. Hopefully this is the lowest point for him.
  24. Wow what in the hell is he doing? What a heartless effort by him tonight
