Yep, one writer will tweet that X team is pushing aggressively, followed by someone tweeting progress is being made and then a little bit later, someone says there is a deal in place

Nightengale doesn’t even link the Sox to Harper in this interview http://www.knbr.com/2019/02/11/bob-nightengale-predicts-what-giants-will-offer-bryce-harper-on-680/

Having Manny also gives them a chance to have a top offense down the road hopefully despite a few guys not living up to their billing. You can start dreaming of having 3 all stars annually if Yoan and Eloy figure it out.

Yep, considering the amounts seem to be lower than what was expected, no one is going to get mad at the Sox if they blow away the competition.

Before I saw the actual video, I was hoping it was him announcing his wife was pregnant with a baby girl and that he'd be on the Sox? That would be a nice way to rehab your image as well.

Then why delete it?

Why troll a fan base that you either still might sign with or is going to have to cheer on two of your closest friends if you don't sign there?

Manny and his wife share their Instagram account. She probably posted this story and got told to take it down.

And he deleted it

He's going to be #17

It is, as well as his continued trolling

you're right, after further review seems like they're going to have another baby

Yeah, what's up with this?

From what I heard during the Super Bowl, these sites don't really care about prop bets very much and they're used to get novice bettors to use their book to bet more money on spreads, etc.

here are the things that would cause a meltdown if they happened, outside of both signing elsewhere on same day (in which case, melt away): - Yankees trading Andujar - Cubs trading Heyward - Harper signing with a team that's not the Phillies - Sox signing Moustakas

Hahn is the same person that said Sox fans won't care if Manny signed in December or March if he hits a walk-off homer. I really don't get the negativity today from so many.

There's nothing bad for the Sox in that Martino article. It still says the belief is he'll take the most money offered.

No one says you have to believe it. I clearly said it was from a random, and was illustrating my point about how people are getting their hopes up about Wednesday.

Randoms, like this:

Everyone's going to have their hopes up for a Wednesday announcement, just like soxfest. Already seen 3 or 4 people pop up on twitter saying Manny signs on Wednesday.

There was a report he wanted 6 or 7 years for 25-30 mil per coming into the offseason. I think he's going to be disappointed.

I’m thinking Santana is their guy. Supposedly they’re not one of the 4-5 teams linked to Gio.

Picture is two weeks old

Also makes you wonder if Giants think Dodgers might be interested in short-term deal for Harper and they’re trying to raise the price.
