QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 03:35 AM)
I'd personally like to see TA up here but I would consider putting him on the DL for a week or two and have him clear his head and come back recharged.
Yep if he's struggling as much emotionally as they are implying, then they need to get him help (I mean that in the most caring way possible). It does no one any good if he's incapable of focusing on the field because of the tragedy.
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 02:17 AM)
So did he break his hand? It seemed like he hurt his hand, was DLed, and disappeared
He died, went to hades with Rodon, Zangari, Diaz and Jones and thankfully was brought back from the underworld
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 03:11 AM)
It reminds me of Harry Carays final years. Once it got past the infield he was guessing
At least he hasn't called Moncada as Yolmer
QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 02:03 AM)
Seriously, I could be talked into him as a backup despite his complete lack of power, but not with his framing how it has been (ranks 77th of 84 catchers this year).
He seems so bad on low pitches
QUOTE (Scoots @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 01:59 AM)
Hopefully, this is the worst of it. I know next year is supposed to not be very good, but not necessarily a tank year. I think it would be good to get the young guys acclimated to a winning culture. I would aim high next year for a .500 record (I might get murdered for saying that), maybe the young'ns suprise.
No chance of .500 next year. It's fine as long as young guys show improvement
QUOTE (Scoots @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 01:55 AM)
I don't really follow the Tigers, so correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that dude thrown in the pen because of how awful he became as a starter? Was he brought back to the rotation?
Yes pure sarcasm
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 02:54 AM)
If they move Gonzalez and Melky, I could see the Sox playing the last 60 games at 18-42.
Gonna be hard to win 18 with a bullpen this bad when your starters don't log innings
QUOTE (Scoots @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 02:53 AM)
Yes I agree. While he probably won't put up Chris Sale numbers, I think he definitely is showing signs of being the future Sox Ace and potentionally the best future number 1 starter in the AL Central.
Besides Anibal Sanchez
QUOTE (klaus kinski @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 02:44 AM)
"Carlos" Sanchez has returned
He's been around for over a month. Tonight is the first run he's created in a long time
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 02:12 AM)
I told myself I wouldn't get upset watching these games but I am. Just tired of all the losing. Maybe better to stop watching.
Just have to avoid getting no hit, and then no one will remember these games
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 27, 2017 -> 01:45 AM)
How do you know this?
Cause I watched a ton of his at bats this year and he struck out an insane amount looking at the third strike that was a borderline call
