113 mph exit velocity for Eloy homer

That could be a valuable loss come the end of the season. KC might be a pest, as they are getting destroyed by non-AL central teams

Agreed

Also with no good hitting options on the bench and the knowledge that their closer is a righty, you can't pull someone for defensive reasons in the top of the 9th when you are trailing. That's common sense managing

I will give Hahn credit, they know exactly what Renteria would provide them

Final question that needs to be asked...can Manny bunt?

Some really bad managing tonight. The loss is fine, but this type of high school softball crap can't continue when you are a contender.

Like I said earlier, Heyman seemed to get told he wouldn't be.

cough Girardi cough

Popped up to first baseman in fair territory and didn't leave the batters box

Awful awful bunt call

There we go Yoan! Don't get picked off

Please throw fastballs to try and prevent the steal

It was, but now since he said it before today's game, it will get a lot of press.

Anderson just awful at the plate. Has no bat speed currently. Walks are great and all, but he seems so passive in his swing

Normally I would agree but this was the most blatant you will ever see

Get ready to hear the sound clip on Chicago radio tomorrow about how him and Almora dreamed of winning a WS together

Good inning for Soria. Really nice job by Omar too

When was the last time bullpen was bad

You're right, Manny or Harper would surely want to sign with the WSox over the Cubs if price is equal. Hell, people on here talked about Castillo being enough to get Manny to want to sign here when both Manny and Bryce literally have their childhood close friend on the Cubs.

They showed Hicks hit 105. He said don't let Kopech see that, and I missed the rest but believe he was saying Kopech would try to top that

If you want to keep Yoan at lead off, someone like Madrigal could be a great 2nd hitter

How about baby Pedro in Felix Diaz?

Wonder how impressed Manny is by the 11k in the stands? Season ticket sales must have been way down this year.

And then they would sign Harper. Theo isn't that dumb.
