Been going on two years. His swing from that side is bad. He doesn't clear his hips at all.

Not sure how big an impact that will have. He just doesn't have the bat speed/power from that side he does lefty.

Eloy 3-3 two doubles

Nothing is working with what they are trying now

Agreed he's barely hitting 90 tonight

If Cooper is still stressing less velocity for command and movement, they should try something else.

This current version is out of baseball in four years

This is first start he's had where I wonder if he's hurt

Velocity maybe worst of his career

89 mph fastball

His curve is pure garbage.

Yep 91 down the heart of plate to Gallo. His stuff isn't major league caliber right now.

The vaunted curve....it's a myth

Topping out at 92

Yoan gonna destroy this guy sometime tonight

Same old crappy fastball command

He talked more about the changes on the WS Talk podcast. He tried to get rid of the hitch but didn't feel comfortable with it so he decided he's had a hitch all his life, he might as well go back to what has worked for him back to Little League. He reached out to his coaches at Miami for game tape.

I love this post. The amount of veterans they have signed over the last 5-10 years that come over and seemingly forget how to play the game has been alarming.

Him and Avilan were not brought in to help the tank. They were brought in as flip candidates. So far, those two and MiGo are looking like a waste of 15 million dollars.

Soria is just bad

Another very soft grounder batting lefty. If he's going to keep switch hitting, you will want to protect him with righties before and after as much as possible when games matter

Also showing he is more effective when he's swinging more and not the easiest player in baseball to strike out

Engel's bat path is insane

Love that he didn't try to kill the 0-2 slider

Yoan should hit the ball hard vs Chavez
