  1. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 06:04 AM) Bringing in Chapman ended up being a disaster. Was right call
  2. Just love how much Cubs fans hate Chapman right now
  3. Chapman will for sure complain about extended outing. He hates it
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 05:57 AM) I'm way behind and following this on gamecast but he's got a short a swing as I can remember. I think he'd be perfect. Looks like it worked. Pretty sure Chapman is murder on lefties and Conor isn't good vs LHP. Oh well, you are right in this instance!
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 05:54 AM) On what planet should Conor be hitting in this situation? Exactly
  6. Almost the best catch in Cubs history
  7. On what planet should Conor be hitting in this situation?
  8. Awful series for Pence
  9. Don't get picked off
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 05:09 AM) Also...in fairness: https://twitter.com/royceyoung/status/785692486714875904 Foot looks off already. You could tell on video by how much it slid

  12. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 04:56 AM) Looks like MLB wants Cubs to move on with that call. Been getting breaks on reviews all season. It's an absolute joke.
  13. What a shock. MLB is a bunch of cowards
  14. Clearly off the bag
  15. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 03:37 AM) Yeah this ballpark sucks haha No other fly ball like Pence hit earlier in the game has not been a homer all year (velocity and angle)
  16. Giants with some loud outs last few innings
  17. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 03:11 AM) Not until after his HOF induction and his number is retired at Wrigley. But seriously, the amount of love he is getting for his "retirement" is annoying and completely unwarranted. The dude is a career .229 hitter and 15 WAR catcher over 15 years. He also might not retire now
  18. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 04:01 AM) Yea fathom already said that. His velocity is down though, which fathom also noted. Velocity was higher than usual vs Mets. Probably just out of gas after that intense game.
  19. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 03:56 AM) this ballpark is huge man, that's a hw most places no? Probably, he crushed that. No clue how lefties hit for any consistent power here
  20. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 03:45 AM) good point but dodgers and nationals have only one ace and the rest of their pitchers are mediocre. giants have cueto and bum just a s***tttayyy offense Roark and Hill were two of the best pitchers in baseball this year
  21. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 02:42 AM) Pitching on 3 days rest.. he's done it before but he is still human. Normal rest (4 days). His velocity is way down though from the WC game
  22. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 02:35 AM) can't really see the indians competing with the cubs Who's supposed to be number 4 for Indians
  23. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 02:34 AM) man the cubs would have obliterated them. Their pitching is bad. The cubs will run into problems in the ws, not before. The boppers the jays have will give the cubs issues since they have seen lester, arrieta, and lackey before. Cardinals played Cubs tough this year because they could hit the ball out of the park. Cubs pitching gives up so few hits, so you need to be able to strike quickly.
