  1. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 02:07 AM) Unless Frazier is hitting an HR, he's absolutely useless as a hitter. Yes, he has value as a defender but he's Adam Dunn 2.0 w/ more consistent power. Defend him if you will but that's where he's at. Value defensively is way down right now
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 02:07 AM) The Rangers desperately need another starter with Colby Lewis going down for a month with an oblique strain. We could probably give them James Shields for free. Why would anyone trade for him right now
  3. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 02:03 AM) Raw, a rookie. What do you expect? Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan. Just seems once he swings and misses in an at bat, it's a lock he will swing and miss again in that at bat
  4. Rodon pitching well. Got to find a way to score some runs tonight
  5. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 01:51 AM) Can't hit when it matters most 8 men on in last 3 at bats for Shuck. He's made 3 weak outs on 3 pitches.
  6. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 12:29 AM) Which current hitters did they develop? Schwarber, Bryant, and arguably Rizzo arrived ready to hit. Who is next? Baez? Everyone else was a free agent They made some changes to Rizzo and Russell IIRC
  7. Here we go again. Just awful command of his fastball
  8. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 01:28 AM) Sounds like Putnam's injury is long-term. There is just no way in hell this team is going to be able to hang around until mid-late July. Yep he's gonna be done for the season
  9. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 01:27 AM) I'm almost certain that I could strike out Todd Frazier right now. So damn predictable. Tries to pull everything. Embarrassing hit skill right now
  10. QUOTE (Lillian @ Jun 25, 2016 -> 01:19 AM) Our cleanup hitter is hitting .200 with an OBP of .300. Is there a worse lineup anywhere in the Majors? Still can't believe they haven't brought in another bat to upgrade over Shuck and Avi. What is Hahn waiting for, being double digits behind Cleveland?
  11. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 05:46 PM) Cubs are calling up top C prospect Willson Contreras. Just never ends for them. He looks like a complete beast. They do an amazing job developing hitters.
  12. 1. Tim Anderson ® SS 2. Adam Eaton (L) RF 3. Melky Cabrera (S) LF 4. Todd Frazier ® 1B 5. Alex Avila (L) C 6. Brett Lawrie ® 2B 7. J.B. Shuck (L) CF 8. Avisail Garcia ® DH 9. Tyler Saladino ® 3B wow at this lineup
  13. David F (Miami): How you rate the White Sox farm system, which prospects can we be excited about? Matt Eddy: The White Sox system is in rough shape. Any prospect who has had a good year has reached the majors (Tim Anderson, Tyler Danish, Jason Coats), while virtually everybody else has struggled, most notably Carson Fulmer. Among those I like the best are RHP Spencer Adams, 3B Trey Michalczewski, OF Jacob May and OF Adam Engel, while 2B/OF Jake Peter continues to play well. Chicago’s top three draft picks — C Zack Collins and RHPs Zack Burdi and Alec Hanson — will go to the front of the line this fall. 14. Purke should have been last guy in the pen. What were they saving Ynoa for
  15. Not mad about winning 3 of 4. Both teams could have swept the other. Hahn has his work cut out for him to make this a team that can even pray of making wild card.
  16. Predictable loss once Purke came in. Way too many AAA players on this roster. The injuries to Putnam and Petricka illustrate how god awful the system is.
