I feel like it was around this time last year where Kopech slumped after big start

Well today totally sucks. Kopech isn't close to being ready. A scout friend of mine actually said his stuff looked better last year.

Just hope he's healthy

It's not about dominating, it's about not looking like you belong in Birmingham. No one thought Giolito would look like the worst pitcher in baseball. Fulmer sucking was way more expected.

Pitching is way worse than what was to be expected.

I will say Manny would have loved playing here

This team has been an embarrassment this year. Sure looks like they quit today. Too bad Ricky can't be benched.

He watched it

This organization rushed Bummer so much

Nice defense today. Ricky has these boys playing well

If you offer him closer job, he likely takes it

This pitching staff gives up way too many hits with 2 strikes.

2 outs on the bases, 2 outs via trying to bunt out of the 15 total outs so far

Horrible coaching all around today. Not really surprised.

I thought Hector Rondon and Oh were great options who ended up signing for cheap. Better chance of someone like Rondon performing well as closer and having trade value than Soria.

Amazing how bad his command has been this year

Yeah if an eye test doesn't like him, I hope he's not watching some of these other guys. I legit told my son to not do a single thing Engel does at the plate.

This pitching is epically awful. There were guys available, especially in relief, that could have been had for cheap but of course Hahn chose wrongly

He also feasted on college hitters chasing so many pitches out of the zone

Palka passes the eye test in that he swings hard and when he makes good contact, he does damage. On the other hand, Delmomico's good contact is just deep fly outs. When Avi returns, I hope Palka gets Delmonico's at bats.

Nice Palka

Yay

Get a hit

Wsd said the Sox feel all he does is hunt in the offseason and comes in out of shape

Way to swing at first pitch Delmonico. Easily the most disappointing of the offensive guys.
