QUOTE (Jack Parkman @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 07:55 PM) Repeat after me: player development is not a linear function. There are zero guarantees that these guys come up and become stars right away. That is more rare than your typical player development function which is more like a sinusoidal function. Full of peaks and valleys. If you're referring to Fulmer, he's been bad since 2016 everywhere he's gone

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 07:54 PM) It's going to be nice when Sox pitchers start throwing strikes again. Too many walks, way too few strikeouts from the starters. Oh well, at least Kopech/Cease/Dunning have looked good and Lopez looks great

This is how Fulmer looked in the spring unfortunately.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 08:38 PM) I feel like Castillo gives very little effort when he swings Hope he tells Manny it feels just like Florida weather

QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 07:27 PM) He's very good if he only has to pitch an inning or two at a time. Obviously that isn't what we hoped for when the Sox drafted him, but he could still be a valuable contributor on the next good Sox team. Hopefully his velocity increases a bit as reliever. Two years ago, it did not

1-18 for Abreu at home

Fulmer has no command today. Painful to watch

QUOTE (cjgalloway @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 07:09 PM) Moncada K's more than I blink. Exit velocity doesn't matter if you don't make contact

Some of these guys look like they've never seen a slider in their life

QUOTE (SonofaRoache @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 07:57 PM) All the contending teams are going to have a boatload of money to spend as well. Dodgers, Cubs, Yankees, Sox, etc. Yep...I don't think this past offseason was kind at all to the Sox rebuilding plans

QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 07:54 PM) Total team effort so far this season, that includes this manager. Don't worry, he won't be around either come 2020

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 06:49 PM) What the f*** is happening with this defense?!?! Delmonico has been a total disgrace defensively this year.

Well at least Fulmer didn't give up a run in the first two innings so his eventual role as a late inning pitcher isn't in jeopardy

QUOTE (Wanne @ Apr 10, 2018 -> 06:22 PM) I really wish he'd s***can batting righty. Yep his swing is so ugly

QUOTE (GermanSoxFan @ Apr 9, 2018 -> 11:18 PM) I defended the Romo AB's but that was just horrific. Bad approach by TA. Just awful. You can see the players tightening up in big moments and having absolutely no game plan. They fall right into what other team is trying to do.

Bunch of crap.

Bunch of chokers

Wow come on Yolmer. Has blown some big chances

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 9, 2018 -> 10:53 PM) The IWC has turned on nakamura after last night tbf. I dont know why. I thought the match was good. One of them should have been a heel though to make the match dynamic better I like Nakamura but I am just not entertained by his matches at all. As for NXT, I don't watch a lot but ciampa and Johnny G are incredible

QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 9, 2018 -> 10:00 PM) FYI, the right pitch is always slider. Offspeed pitch is killing our hitters this year

Good god, just awful

Horrible at bat

Wow three outs at home

QUOTE (Real @ Apr 9, 2018 -> 09:34 PM) bullpen is f***ing laughable More two strike hits. Also would be cool if someone tried to prevent steals

Death by sliders to Timmy today
