QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 03:00 AM) Abreu's been stuck on 11 HR for a while. Time for 12. At Boston was the last one, right?

this team looks like they've quit. Abreu is embarrassing at first.

Adams was doing decent until the 6th. Still can't believe the nosedive his K/BB ratio has taken of late.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 02:37 AM) Can't believe how bad this team has got in last 2 months......Cubs are going to sweep ......shoot me now! Just don't get no-hit by Arrieta on Monday

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:35 AM) The Dodgers are light on position player prospects, so they might have to get in a third team. Was wondering if maybe the Sox try to get the Yankees involved in order to get Sanchez.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:34 AM) Matt Albers this year defines the Sox season Yep, great start and then imploded in that Rangers debacle and seemingly never recovered.

QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:18 AM) Not a chance. He gave us a discount and we rewarded him with a terrible lineup and minimal run support. He's gone when his contract is up. Yep, and he's been an amazing member of the Sox in terms of not complaining about the talent around him and/or demanding a trade.

QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:16 AM) A package including Correa for Sale would be an unreal grab for the White Sox. That's why it won't happen. Would actually make sense for Houston in all honesty. Bregman could fill in for Correa right away.

QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 02:13 AM) I'm beginning to think the Sox are going to get an offer they can't refuse for Sale before the deadline. I don't think they have any plans to trade him, and I also don't think they are going to rebuild in the traditional way. They'll use Q to get near MLB ready bats.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:10 AM) And when Ranaudo s*** the bed you would wonder how they can bring up a guy wth an ERA over 17 . Most teams aren't 7 or 8 starters deep. One guy did well in AAA, the other guy was awful. Like you said, maybe just put Turner in the bullpen and hope he can throw 98-99. Secondary stuff is horrible for a starter.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 02:03 AM) This is over. The Sox are top 10 pick team smh If they trade Sale and Q, they might not win 20 games the rest of the way.

Give Ranaudo a shot instead of Turner please. Just remember, this guy was called up to start when the Sox were still trying to contend.

QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 02:00 AM) Will we see Fulmer vs Fulmer Tonight? Unsure when he pitched last. No doubt he pitches tonight

QUOTE (klaus kinski @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:58 AM) 68 pitches no outs in third. Sad Should be comical seeing him pitch at Wrigley against that lineup next Wednesday.

@aycockonxion According to the same source, the Astros offered Springer plus prospects, and the Sox declined.

QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 01:52 AM) Should be strictly a DH. Here come the Tigers. 69th out of 71 in terms of defense at 1B

Team is fun bad right now

Abreu is so hard to watch on defense

Fun play by Saladino

Oh Frazier

QUOTE (daggins @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 11:45 PM) Swihart + a couple A ball pitchers. Sox liked Trey Ball before he got drafted

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 12:39 AM) A lot of hype on Profar, but where's the production? Pass. And only 3 years of control left

Saw Evan Grant tweet a few days ago that Profar really wants to be a SS next year. Don't think that would happen here. Lots of reasons I'm not a fan of the Rangers two main guys.

My only issue with centering a trade around Urias for Q is you need to be getting big time offensive talents back given the org's inability to produce their own offensive players. Would much rather package Q and Robertson to get the Boston studs.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 09:00 PM) Have to get Urias back IMO. Well barstool wsox seems to know the players/teams involved, and he mentioned something about how he'd need a top 5 prospect coming back. Only one close to that on the Dodgers is Urias.
