  1. Circus defense out there. At least no one got hurt. Bonifacio misjudged that by 10 feet.
  2. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 03:02 AM) 5th time Sox have bases loaded and do not score. That is hard to do 5 times a year let alone in 2 months. I don't really count that as not scoring, as they had previously scored in the inning.
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 04:00 AM) emilio has been absolutely brutal this year. Poor use of him, but still. Nieto performed better with more scarce playing time. He did himself no favors by looking as if he's never played baseball before during Spring Training. I'd love to replace him with Ruggiano.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 03:59 AM) Don't think I saw one person complain about rodon's pitch count. Couldn't be happier. Day off on Thursday is nice
  5. Curry's shooting has gone to hell since he fell and hurt himself.
  6. I'm 100% serious, but I'm seeing on a popular message board that Astros fans wish they had more professional hitters like the Sox, as they take good pitches and hit it the opposite way.
  7. I love seeing Qualls pitch against the Sox with bases loaded.
  8. Hell of a start by Rodon. Thanks Astros and Marlins
  9. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 02:45 AM) Chris Heston gets no hitter. His k-zone was about 5 miles long. Insane strike zone
  10. Didn't even realize Eaton has an OPS near .450 vs LHP
  11. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 01:23 AM) I'm really, really worried that not scoring with the bases loaded and no outs is going to come back to haunt us tonight. We may not get another three hits off Keuchel the rest of the game, let alone in one inning. For the love of God, prove me wrong offense. I'd much rather look like a pouty douche than lose a one run game. I'm more concerned about how in the world is Hahn going to improve this offense going forward
  12. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 01:46 AM) The Sox have a -1.6 position player WAR this year. They really are trying to go for some sort of position-player ineptitude. Who's that? You could tell me it's one of four guys and I would believe it
  13. Another awful at bat by Flowers. He really needs to be released. 3-28 with bases loaded in his awful career.
  14. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 08:46 PM) Same. The stuff looks ML ready. No idea if his control needs work or if he's consistent enough, but it looks to me like the only question mark is whether or not his body holds up with that delivery. I've watched a ton of his games this year (Vandy seemed to be the Thurs night ESPNU game all season), and I think his command is the biggest area he needs to improve. If he can be consistent with his fastball location (much like Rodon), it will allow him to use his superior offspeed pitch(es) to strike out a lot of hitters.
  15. 3 straight without an MLB video/scouting report
  16. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 06:47 PM) I really like the Stephens pick. Strong track record at a good school. Big time second offering. Senior signing so should be under slot. I may be reaching but Erwin/Stephens both look like under slot to me, maybe the Sox have some high school upside in the next few rounds. Any scouting report on what he throws?
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 07:41 PM) White Sox are now 5 rounds into mlbdraft without selecting a position player. Does this increase the odds of hitting the Cuban market? Don't think there's any correlation, as you're not counting on the guys picked here to be an impact player.
  18. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 07:33 PM) I think your expectations of 4th round picks are a bit high. The White Sox have 2 4th round picks out of 50 that have put up at least a 1.0 WAR for them for their career. well said
  19. I really like the Brewers draft so far. Kirby was a great pick for them.
