QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:54 AM) I don't care how this game turns out, etc., but it is obvious Danks is a f***ing good pitcher. I don't care what anybody tells me contrary to that. Anybody who can't admit this ... I don't know what else to say. He still massively sucks and his contract extensions is one of the worst deals in Sox history.

What freaking game is Robin and Cooper watching? Ridiculously long leash here to just about seal this game.

Keeps giving up these hits with 2 strikes.

And Danks has totally lost it. Could see this coming last inning.

Danks losing it a bit. Might be time to get bullpen up.

Abreu has that inside-out power swing going

I'll never understand why they don't do more hit-and-runs with Saladino at the plate.

Clearly the most impressive feat for a Thompson brother this year

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:31 AM) Rios has killed sox all year. All you have to do is pitch him low and away and he won't do any harm.

Seems like based off of years of watching Rios bat, he's a good bet to pull the ball down the line against a soft tosser. Melky was way off the line there.

Awful relay throw home by Sanchez. His defense has gotten worse as his offense has improved.

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:29 AM) I liked Hawk /Rowand . Rowand maybe needed reminding he was broadcasting with children listening and wasn't in a bar. Never too early to teach your kids about syphilis.

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:26 AM) I didn't think it could get worse than Hawk-Rowand...enter Scotty Pods. By the end of that road trip, I thought Rowand was good. He brought some comedy at least to the broadcast.

Mets at Tampa tonight sounds like it's 90% Mets fans. Pretty interesting spectacle.

Jammed left shoulder, day-to-day for Eaton. Of course, that's what they said about Avi and the MRI revealed the tear.

What the hell, Hawk just blew off Pods' question to him. This is a shameful production.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:17 AM) Looking at the replay, it looks like his shoulder was hurt before he landed. Hawk said he was having shoulder issues. Hopefully, he didn't tear something. Looks more to me like he hurt it on the fall. Either way, he's very likely done for the year. He had been way more durable this year than he was last year too.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 02:14 AM) Where did LaRoche's pop go? Who knows, but his approach is sickening. He really does very little to adjust to how the opposition is pitching him.

I assume Saladino will become the leadoff hitter? Sucks to lose Adam, as he's been pretty damn good the last few months.

Hawk campaigning for Hunter to be a HOFer? This broadcast is ridiculous.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:37 AM) LaRoche is so selfish. Just f***ing get the run in instead of having this fricking wide open stance that accomplishes nothing. Lexi just was overmatched in his at bat and not talented enough. But LaRoche pisses me off. Get the run home. Considering how much you hate LaRoche and how much you hate KC, post #40 in this thread should make you sick.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 01:47 AM) Someone take pods out now. Please. For the love of God Bring back Rowand, they're undefeated with him in the booth

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 8, 2015 -> 12:34 AM) LaDunn has been one of the biggest bust in 2015. Just praying that he retires after this season. He's had such little impact on this team winning.

Wow, on the season, LaRoche is 6-42, no homers, no walks and 15 strikeouts vs KC. Way to make a difference Adam!

Pods is like the anti-Chuck Swirsky. Instead of asking Hawk 100 questions every game, Pods acts like he's in the booth by himself. This is fun bad
