Sad attendance yet again

Boers and Bernstein broke down all of Avi's numbers. There is really nothing in the numbers to make us optimistic.

QUOTE (Knuckles @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 05:21 AM) Joe McEwing took the blame for that siutation. That's all he can do. Good for him. Yep, I'm over it

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 03:33 AM) The thing is....it's just laziness on McEwing's part and/or lack of scouting. If Kiermaier didn't play for the Rays, he'd be in the Gold Glove conversation. He can really do it all defensively. The Rays' announcing team was simply incredulous he was being sent there. He will win the GG this year

Last Thursday was worse. All the momentum in the world came crashing down with Sale on the mound

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 04:26 AM) Well, Baltimore's winning as well...although the Angels are playing so badly they're putting themselves back in the elimination bracket. This game is a perfect illustration of why we should have dealt Shark. Coaching decisions right and left, bad defense, bullpen giving up key late runs right and left whenever the Sox had the momentum. 3.5 behind a superior Blue Jays team. Have fun catching them

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 04:20 AM) McEwing to bench coach, do it now!!! Put McEwing on waivers

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 04:20 AM) We probably should have traded Shark, but I'm not going to cry over the loss of a couple B prospects. I'm sure Hahn would have gotten some gems for him

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 03:19 AM) 16,496 were duped into coming to this one...mostly disguised as empty seats. But yeah, trading Shark was going to decimate the fanbase. Is that all the attendance was?

Nice effort by Sanchez. Heartbreaking loss

With the way things go in this org, McEwing will get a promotion

Avi with a real good AB. Almost made contact.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 04:14 AM) Ack...didn't work out as planned, but if he would have been stranded at 3rd we all would have been b****ing about not sending him. That's the best defensive player in baseball

That's the dumbest send I have ever seen

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 04:11 AM) I really disagree with that. I will never understand why they went all in this past offseason. Now they are saddled with limited financial flexibility

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 03:08 AM) And the Cubs can now take the WC lead as the Giants blew a 6-0 lead. This week has been absolutely awful for Sox fans. Not that it was unexpected. Amazing how bad it's gone from being up 2-0 in Boston with Sale on the mound

QUOTE (Baron @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 03:07 AM) Hahn's had a good couple of offseasons...all those signings and trades showing themselves today He has been really bad at his GM job

Still pissed they didn't try and get Astros or Yanks interested in Robertson last week

QUOTE (almagest @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 04:05 AM) Now all of a sudden our offense comes around, so the pitching sucks. Been a trademark of the team since 2006

Robertson has been another disappointment

Stupid AJP just helped Braves overcome 6-0 deficit to beat Giants in extra

Nice stop by Flowers

These relievers have sucked tonight. Robertson pitched Forsythe like he was Bryce Harper.

QUOTE (Baron @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 03:57 AM) Will Ohman Well done!

QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 4, 2015 -> 03:55 AM) Thornton was pretty pathetic at the end. Thornton was one of the best relievers in the 21st century overall for the Sox. There have been a ton worse.
