  1. Get someone up in the pen
  2. Looks like ADA changed his hands around a bit. Doesn't seem to have much balance at the plate.
  3. Hit a blooper ADA
  4. All we needed for a good Dunn the last 4 years was Peavy not to be on the team
  5. Hopefully Gillaspie gets one of those inside fastballs and lines it into the bullpen. He's due for a homer.
  6. Thought that was gone
  7. The righty hitters for Sox should know Peavy isn't going to bust them inside very often.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 01:41 AM) With good reason. Yep, which is why it was absolutely shocking to me he was brought back. He's a better player than he's shown this year.
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 01:40 AM) Hawk apparently does not like De Aza. They HATED him last year.
  10. Well, talk about a wide plate.
  11. Abreu seems way too pull happy right now, which is causing him to open up early it seems.
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 01:28 AM) Doesn't have much movement on it either. The breaking ball at the moment is definitely his best pitch though a little inconsistent. Yeah, he needs to get that 88 mph slider closer to the plate to get more swings at it. He's shown decent command of the fastball from side to side, but not up/down.
  13. Quite the meatball. Johnson's can't live around the plate with that fastball at 91
  14. 2005 White Sox World Series Ring recipient Doug Eddings!
  15. Yikes, super quick inning
  16. Nice to see them held down after Sox score.
  17. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 01:00 AM) Like the offensive approach so far. Patience. Outside of that one disaster game in Colorado, I really like Viciedo's balance at the plate this season.
  18. Hawk's gonna lose it tonight
  19. Unreal strike 3 there. Shades of Saturday where the umpiring really screwed the Sox.
  20. Mercy, Peavy pitching like this is a postseason game.
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 01:19 AM) Davidson has struggled with contact after a hot start. There seems to be a huge lack of home runs being hit by the Sox minor leaguers. Not sure if this is Minor League wide with other organizations (weather, etc.).
  22. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 12:51 AM) Then Viciedo wouldn't have doubled and De Aza still would've K'd. Just in general, as I enjoyed having another player in the lineup that I enjoyed watching his progress.
  23. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 12:45 AM) There wasn't a replay that showed him safe. That one they showed from by the dugout, his foot was off the bag way after the ball was in his mitt, not sure what they were trying to show there. It's as likely that he was still on the bag when that was caught, replays didn't show anything different. If you pieced together the shot from the front and back, it sure seemed like his foot was off the base at the time he caught the ball.
  24. It's amazing how awful this replay system is.
