I thought it was interesting that the Sox “believe” they can get better prospects than the Orioles. If Jones and Hampton are on the table, then they must have some inclination that the Orioles are willing to offer a strong package.

I root for Michigan, but JJ McCarthy has not been very good this year. Lacks touch on sideline passes. He doesn’t seem like an NFL caliber starter to me.
One thing I haven’t seen mentioned much on here is that Bradish and Rodriguez saw big increases in their workload last year. Bradish was up 40 innings or so from the previous year, while Rodriguez increased by around 90. That team is going to keep having to add to their pitching depth.
What frustrates me is Fields will have 3rd and medium-long, sees the likely blitz alignment, and then looks like he has no clue he’s going to have to unload the ball right away. He looks like a freshman QB in college that lacks experience.
