  1. QUOTE (flavum @ May 18, 2012 -> 04:35 PM) There's pinch hitting in NL parks. Use him for when Russell comes in. If Dolis/Wood come in, let Fukudome face him.
  2. When Samardjiza gets to 2 strikes, he's going to throw a ton of splitters. It's been a great pitch for him so far this year, so the Sox hitters need to get to him before he can utilize that pitch.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 18, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) I know as Sox fans it's pretty much required to make fun of Wood. I've done it for years. But when he was healthy, man, I couldn't help but be jealous. And the 20 K game is still to this day one of the top 3 or 4 pitching performances I've ever witnessed. If you guys remember, the Michael Jordan Bulls had a playoff game that same night. And the #1 sports story that night and the next day was Wood's performance. With that said, LMAO@Wood for game 7 against the Marlins. Jon Garland with more career White Sox wins than Kerry Wood had Cubs wins...that's awesome!
  4. Charlie Manuel doing his best to give the Cubs momentum heading into our game tomorrow.
  5. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ May 17, 2012 -> 11:16 PM) Judging by the swing that Morel put on this guy...we should put up like 5 more runs here. He did homer off of Pauley last year
  6. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 17, 2012 -> 10:51 PM) I get that Pujols does his usual stare at the homerun and pose thing, but that's only ok when you are hitting like the best player in baseball. When you are sucking it up, you don't need to pose for a ball that goes 5 feet over the wall. But yet, it makes it so much funnier when it gets caught at the warning track. Did he just pass Moyer as the oldest player to ever get an RBI in a game?
  7. Ohman ready to come in yet? In all honesty, probably Nate Jones time.
  8. Great job by Sale avoiding the big inning!
  9. That's the first time Wells has walked in consecutive games since early June of last year.
  10. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:16 PM) You sure you want to pay a career reliever $20M in '15? I didn't say either was a good contract
  11. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:14 PM) Wilson. Age factor. But fewer career innings
  12. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) Worse contract: Danks or Wilson? Danks
  13. Trumbo's been very impressive this year. Swing looks more compact than it was last year.
  14. Great job by Dunn of not letting Wilson off the hook.
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:53 PM) GOD WHY DIDN'T WE TRADE DUNNG FOR SORIANO Did anyone really suggest that?
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:39 PM) autocorrect? Um...sure
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ May 17, 2012 -> 09:38 PM) Chris Sale is the best Sox starter since Arnie Munoz There, I said it.
  18. QUOTE (Jake @ May 17, 2012 -> 08:36 PM) If he can be fixed, it's gotta look bad for the GM to trade him and have him be fixed. It happens...as of now, it doesn't look like he's going to be fixed in a Sox jersey. They've given him every chance to succeed, and he hasn't yet. Hopefully this is a mute point come the end of the year and he's a fixture in the Sox organization.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 17, 2012 -> 08:36 PM) Beckham can go back to 3b! I think they would try him at SS
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 17, 2012 -> 08:35 PM) I wonder if a Pedro Alvarez for Beckham type deal could happen. I've absolutely been thinking that, and I'd be all for it. Only issue is Pirates have Walker at 2nd base.
