Seriously, how many times a game does Hawk say "was the best I've ever seen in my life". I swear he attributes someone or something to being the best he has ever seen at least 7-8 times a game.
Hawk does it more than anyone I've ever heard in my life.

DP are killing this team.
I would rather Ozzie be more aggressive with the hit and run than straight steals. The AJP one was fine, but with Juan up and a sinker baller on mound, why not put runners in motion and try to open some holes?

You see, now since the Indians got rained out, we face Masterson now as well...
And yes, he is pitching Wednesday.
That's bad news
Is Peavy pitching in the Indians series? He would have been a much better match-up in the Dodgers series with all of their righties. Indians and their plethora of lefties seems like a bad match-up for Peavy.
So I watched 2005 Game 3 of ALDS on DVD today. I forgot just how bad Chris Berman and Sutcliffe were announcing that game. Jenks' stuff was incredible, and Ozzie did a hell of a job managing.
Chapman is going to have to get sent down to the minors. They might as well try to transition him into a starter, especially with Bray pitching solidly.

There's a surprise.
A Quentin pop-up and another weak 4-3 groundout by AJ.
Ugh. It's beyond Corpseball. Necrophilia Ball.
Balta's threats of bringinb back Pierre is making me wish for an 0 for 100 stretch for him.

I feel like Quentin ought to be able to handle Cahill if he was going well. Instead, weak popup.
He's bailing on everything. Between Quentin, Rios and Beckham, I'm not sure which one is opening up worse.
