I just like how Milwaukee has Kotsay batting in front of Braun/Fielder (while Morgan's been great for them), and then has a batter that's 4 for his last 45 batting behind those two studs. And yes, the squeeze play was terrible.

No one said Padres didn't have money issues. There's people on this site that can confirm I was saying the same thing to them after the first near Peavy trade with regards to concerns San Diego had about how he would hold up. If Sox trade Danks this offseason I dont think anyone would claim it's a salary dump

Padres knew they couldn't sign him to an extension so that's why they got rid of him now
