  1. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 02:47 AM) Logan coming in with the bases loaded? s***, Ozzie sent this one in a while ago. Quiet, don't tell Ozzie that Carrasco is better against lefties than righties.
  2. Hitters are batting about .380 vs Ramirez since he's been on the Sox. Carrasco coming in now...too bad we let Wassermann and his 84 mph come in last inning.
  3. I feel bad for people who took the under in this game and thought it was a sure thing after 7 innings. Santo, are you still betting on Ervin Santana road games?
  4. Wow, that was a quick 4 runs! If nothing else, it gives us a chance to let B.J. Ryan get wild in the 9th.
  5. Toronto should really trade Marcum this offseason for a good offensive player. He's had a lot of arm/elbow issues this season.
  6. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:18 AM) huh? leaving pitches up is a condition that results in being pulled? hahahahahahahahaha Should have pulled Buehrle after the 1st inning last night. Can we just call up Eldred and play him at 1B. Swisher is a f***ing pathetic player.
  7. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:17 AM) This is easily a top ten worst managed game by Ozzie. First, Gavin shouldn't have even started the inning as he was leaving pitches up in the 7th and secondly he left him out there too long in the 8th. And then Wasserman? Are you f^&&ing kidding me? We don't deserve to win this division. And secondly if we do most likely we're 3 and out anyway as we are not even close to as good as LA, BOS or Tampa. There's been significantly worst managed games by Ozzie lately. Nothing he could really do here, as this team could have played 20 innings and might not have scored. It's hard to win when you have 9 players struggling at the plate.
  8. Clayton Richard in the pen? Jeez Ozzie, you do know he's a young arm?
  9. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 02:11 AM) I know it's always the Sox f***ing up, and not the other team having any sort of talent, but Toronto is a good f***ing team. They have the best staff in the league. Without the MVP and probably the Sox best hitter the last month out of the lineup, runs are going to be tough to come by. Yep, these games are going to be very irritating to watch in that they can't sit back and hit the 3 run homer.
  10. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:10 AM) exactly - what the hell? Overbay was just timing it and stroked it back up the middle. Don't worry Ginger, there's a poster on this site that thinks he has a good slider.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 02:09 AM) Yes, plenty of times actually. And I smell an 8th inning rally for us. Thornton is so much better when he starts the inning. When he comes into situations where he has no leeway, he's been brutal this season.
  12. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 02:08 AM) Ballgame. f***. This offense is just screwed without Quentin and Konerko. Is there one player swinging the bat well in our lineup now?
  13. Ballgame....don't be afraid to throw a slider once every week Matt.
  14. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:03 AM) Reminds me of a team I was fond of not so long ago. Going to be awfully tough for them with the Red Sox, Yankees, and Rays in their division. There's not a chance in hell they keep Burnett though.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:03 AM) It was a sinker breaking in on him, he kept his hands back and hit it oppo. Not sure you can call that a meatball. Sure seemed to be right down the plate
  16. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:02 AM) I'm not even watching but I highly doubt Gavin should be in right now.... correct....should have been pulled after Scutaro's hit.
  17. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 02:59 AM) Jays could be pretty nasty next year if they keep this rotation. Their offense still sucks
  18. For some reason, whenever Sox starters are cruising and go into the 8th inning, everything seems to go to hell.
  19. Gavin just threw a meatball for Scutaro to hit. Well, you don't deserve to win if you can't score.
  20. Ugh, leadoff double for Snider. He's a great looking hitter.
  21. That pitch almost hit the dirt by the time he hit it.
