7/22 - SOX vs. TEX, 7:11 CT, CSN
Twins threatening to take the lead.

Ugh, what terrible defense by Swisher. This team really needs to just bench PK and move Swisher to CF. It's ok, Buehrle's going to give that run right back.

Another valuable at bat for PK.

Nice to have Dye back in the lineup. He seems to be running well also.

Feel free to not strike out in your first at bat every time OC.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 12:11 AM) I haven't seen those. Was it posted here? Doubt it, heard it on the radio on the way home. Said Buehrle shouldn't worry about his grandpa, because he's dead. He said all you can do is pray, and everyone has issues every day.

QUOTE (tommy @ Jul 22, 2008 -> 11:57 PM) Juan had some decent games coming in as a sub. And from what I recall, he usually has decent at-bats against righty sinker ballers like Mendoza.

Can we just trade Crede now and maybe get some good value? However, I'd rather see Uribe at the plate and in the field than Crede right now.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 22, 2008 -> 11:10 PM) Classy. Not nearly as classy as Ozzie's comments about it. Usual lineup tonight. I'm one more game away from suggesting we put Alexei in the leadoff spot.

LOSS: Rangers 6-1 White Sox
The more I watch, the more I'm convinced that OC is the catalyst for this team (either good or bad). I believe he's 0 for his last 16 or so, and he's trying to pull everything.

Rangers @ White Sox 7/21/08 7:11pm
Last week, the upcoming schedule showed during a Sox game had tonight's game at 7:30. It was since changed, but it wouldn't shock me.

Sox interested in Street
Say no to Fuentes. Last thing Sox need is another lefty in the pen.

Danica Patrick is such a b****.

TO and Blake Hofbarber had some very hot dates.

Sox should trade Josh Fields
The more I think about it, the more I want the Sox to trade Fields. If you can package Fields for a big time major leaguer that you'll have control over for the next few years, you have to think about it. Even if Crede doesn't return to the Sox next year, there should be a good amount of 3rd baseman available for the Sox to go after.

Sox Option Russell, Call Up Clayton Richard
I believe Masset is still expected to start.

They're on tonight, and it's fun to watch Erin Andrews on the pregame on ESPN2 right now. That's the only reason I started this thread.

Sox Option Russell, Call Up Clayton Richard
Cool, I look forward to seeing him pitch.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 11:59 PM) Another question...why were Bannister and Danks taken out of the games so early? I don't think either had that high of a pitch count. My guess was the heat? Nope, cause of sucking

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 11:06 PM) Just got back from the game, any news on Dye? Did it hit him in the knee again? X-rays negative, got him on the other knee.

I don't like the fact that the Twins will miss Joba and Pettitte against the Yankees this week.

I would love to see Loaiza start on Tuesday against Texas. That would be just too much fun. I hope Ozzie shuffles the rotation with the day off on Thursday.

QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 09:40 PM) Can he be any worse then Contreras? IMO, Carrasco seems like a good long relief guy anyway, maybe we can keep Contreras on the DL, keep Massett in the rotation, and pray to God he keeps us in games unlike Contreras did. Masset in the rotation would be ok for a team playing out the season. We need to win some games though, and Masset won't be good enough as a starter.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) It surely doesn't seem like a real bright idea to start a s***ty reliever on two days rest, but, hey, what do I know? Personally, I think it should be Clayton Richard coming up.

Masset to start on Tuesday, Russell sent down, I wonder who's coming up next? I'll guess Ehren.
