Swisher just totally botched that play. That's the worst read he's had as a Sox.

First time thru the lineup, and Byrd making it look easy. No one has hit the ball hard so far for the Sox. I really think OC would be a much better hitter if he was closer to the plate.

Aubrey with the bomb off of Javy. Javy's fastball seems to be tailing right over the heart of the plate to lefties.

Berkman's looked like crap this series. He's K'd 6 times already, and many of those were with runners on base.

Crede just got drilled by the fence. He's lucky he didn't break both legs on that play.

Here's the information I was told. I'm not saying the other stuff out there is false, just repeating what I heard. Wilder and company were responsible for negotiating with players that were going into the minor leagues. They would come up with a price with the player, and then when they went to KW, Hahn, etc., they were stating a high price than what was agreed upon. Thus, they would get the higher price, and they were keeping the money that they prospects didn't know about.
