Coming from a Red Sox fan, that's comical. No one is saying Cintron's a superstar. However, he's a very good bench player, and is versatile enough to fill in anywhere on the infield.

Cintron had great stats as a PH last season, and he also had at least 15 starts at 2b, SS, and 3b. This also is more proof that once you're on KW's radar, it's very likely you'll end up on the Sox down the road. We've heard rumors of Cintron for about 3 years now.

It's real simple...the Sox don't have any true backups that can play a solid SS. Ozuna can play there, but he's not exactly a wizard in the field. Also, I think Mackowiak's going to get a lot of playing time in the outfield this season.
