Levine has been wrong way too often the last year or so. After a while, the guy's credibility has to be severely questioned.

Last night, I was going to post something that I guarantee Levine comes up with some juicy rumor to get our hopes up today about a trade.

For those listening: was this just a little blurb by Mr. Zero, or has he talked about it a few times?

However, I get the sense that Ozzie really wanted to right the ship, and figured that there was no room to fool around.

While it would be nice to use McCarthy for spot starts the rest of the way, it wouldn't be fair to our main 5 starting pitchers who have busted their ass this season getting us to this point.

Buehrle's an ace no matter what attribute you judge....besides pitch speed. If that's the case, you can have Kerry Wood and his 10 million dollar contract. The only complaint you'll get about Buehrle from some of us is he's struggled against the tougher competition. However, that subject has been beaten to death, so there's no reason to bring it up again.
