  1. Crap, not a good start to the 6th inning. Was it another bad break on the ball by Pods?
  2. Lets go Mark! Don't let the Indians think they have a chance.
  3. QUOTE(Tadahito15 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:52 PM) 3 runs this series for the Indians so far very impressive They needed cold feet by the umpire to score those 2 runs this inning. No way the umpire was going to give Buehrle that pitch to Belliard after he didn't eject him from the game. It's a shame, cause it sure looked to be a strike.
  4. 6-1 now, runner on 3rd, one out. Even if they score the runner here, getting out of this inning with a 6-2 lead is ok.
  5. Buehrle didn't get the same zone as he had been getting from the umpire, and here come the Indians. Looked like Buehrle had him K'd with the 1-2 pitch.
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:49 PM) It was the 1st pitch of the game??? No, leadoff batter of the inning.
  7. Buehrle is lucky he didn't get tossed out of this game. I know he didn't mean to, but you hit the leadoff batter on the first pitch, and you're just asking for a hot-headed umpire to make a bad decision.
  8. QUOTE(wsox08 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:45 PM) game over.... we've got this one.. keep it up Buehrle Just keeping consistent with my reaction to these statements
  9. Good swing by Crede there, as he didn't dip his back to hit the pitch. If Buehrle can hold the Indians scoreless this inning, we'd be in solid shape.
  10. I'll take it! We're not exactly tearing the cover off of the ball. You have to love AJP being an ass and not even sliding (an ass in a good way on the baseball field).
  11. Oh boy, it's everyone's favorite movie star warming up.
  12. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:42 PM) That a boy aj, even if belliard fields that cleanly with aj's speed they aren't turning that. With AJ's speed!!!
  13. Wohoo!!! We got lucky there, even though I don't think they could have turned two. I can't believe PK got to 3rd there!!
  14. Lets break this game wide open.
  15. Bases loaded for AJP here. Against the sinker, this is a recipe for a DP. Hopefully, AJP can get a sac fly at least. BTW, Fox was wrong there. Dye has a grand slam also.
  16. Wow, that looked like a pretty good play by Hernandez there. Sox almost got a huge break there. PK has got to get at least one run in here.
  17. Everett has got to avoid the sinker here, and not ground into a DP!!!
  18. Got a feeling we're going to be seeing a double-steal here.
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) Could be but I think what we've seen with Joe is what we're going to get around .240-250ish with 20-25 homers and suburb defense, which is absolutely fine with me. Back injuries aren't very promising for a lot of offensive production. Hopefully, Crede will get used to the soreness, and be able to adjust and contribute.
  20. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) I'm always the optimist, but I don't f*** with the baseball gods. Well said I never like to make any comments about a game being over until the 27th out has been made, or the Sox are up 10 with less than 3 innings remaining. It's not cause I'm a pessimist, just because I don't like to jinx things.
  21. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:33 PM) What other reaction was there? Well, considering how people always get pissed at me for being Mr. Pessimist, I was glad to see I wasn't the only one who thought it was quite the "jinxable" statement.
  22. QUOTE(GoArow33 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:33 PM) Don't worry. I'm not a jinx or anything. I've been to six games this year and they were all W's. I hope that means I'm not a jinx =). Unless you're at the game today, then those numbers mean nothing to me
  23. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:30 PM) Nice to see you had the same initial reaction that I did.
