The thing that makes our offense so awful right now is that it's not just the end result of their AB.....so many of the hitters are taking strikes, and swinging at bad pitches.

We deserve to lose this game now. We've had a runner on 3rd twice now with less than 2 outs, and haven't got the runner in.

This is f***ing ridiculous. AJ takes the first pitch right down the f***ing plate, but then swings at a pitch that was clearly inside. The offensive execution has been terrible lately.

We should have scored a run that inning. Hopefully, it won't come back to haunt us. BTW, I honestly believe Widger is our most dangerous hitter. He easily hits the most consistent liners on the team.

The only problem with putting on a hit-and-run with Uribe at the plate is that the opposing team knows they don't have to throw pitches near the plate in order for Uribe to swing right now. Thus, you get a very high pitch like the pitch which got Widger thrown out on the bases.
