With every passing day it looks more and more like nothing is going to happen. This has been one of the most lackluster trade deadlines in recent history. Mostly being b/c there are many teams that won't submit because they are still within 5 games of the wildcard. Not saying we have to do anything, but if it does stay this way, I DO NOT want to see anyother of the playoff teams make any moves to bolster anything. We are pretty well matched up against most the teams right now, we have a chance in the post season. I am starting to get the feeling that Kenny is trying his hardest to bolster either the rotation or the bats, but nothing is going to happen. Kenny usually likes to get his moves done way before the deadline this is why i see nothing happening. 4 more days.....only time will tell

The reality of all of it is....No one knows whats going to happen....all the so call "experts" are just predicting or as the title says saying thier perception of what they think is going to happen. They are called experts because they watch sports for a living, and not just one city...yes some reporters are biased towards the team they are a fan of. Or a station is more biased to a fanbase, because thats where the money is. I don't see where people get upset when we don't get coverage (covering a fanbase where the money is, is more important then the best 2 teams in baseball (Sox + Cards)), or some guy rips us apart....its thier opinion....The rest of this season is determined by one thing....The Chicago White Sox....anything "experts" or "soxtalk" says makes no difference whatsoever on what will be the reality of this season. This is America, we have been blessed with free speech we can say whatever the hell we want. If some people don't want to give credit where credit is due so be it. Writting nasty emails isn't going to do anymore then make these guys rip on us (the fans) and the organization even more. The only thing that can make these guys eat thier words are the Chicago White Sox. So suck it up, strap it down, and hold tight while we ride this roller coaster to the end of the season. (Whenever it will be)

IF NO ONE HAS HERD THIS BEFORE....WE WON'T GET PROPS UNTIL WE WIN SOMETHING....if you dont like what they say, dont listen......

Reynolds I have to say did give us some props on BBTN. After the last game of the series he made points from each game in the series....Said something along the lines that we had the chance to win everygame, and should have at least won 3 barring that crede play. First thing I have herd from him that I liked. But the fact of the matter is yes....we won't get any respect until we win anything....let this guy jabber on anyway its what the boston fans want to hear. Bostonians are on a high horse and its going to be up to us to take them out come playoff time....

I also noticed on thursday.....it was really pathetic too, probably cause most of them were bandwagoneers. I talked to some on the red line on the way over and I was like Me: "You guys come from Boston." group: "no, we live in Chicago." Me: "Oh so your from Boston." Group: "No, were just boston fans." In my head "Oh god this is going to be a long night." I did get them though persay.....When Timo threw the runner out at the plate I got up to give a nice fist pump and I knocked an abnoxious boston fans beer on him....I apologized and bought him another beer and he still had the nerve to say "You need to calm down its only a game." It was ironic when he said this because the whole game I wanted to tell this guy "All Ortiz did was pop the ball up, you need to calm down....."

I totally understand what your saying. I think the reason why I (and plenty of others) are extremely upset is because this is a series that replecates the post season the most. It was very rough being there and seeing it happen....I am going to sleep it off now and wake up in 5 hours for work......Went to 3 games this week and my blood pressure has risen ten fold, haha. I am just gonna stick to the TV for the next few, take it easy, and enjoy.

I too was at the game tonight...I totally agree they are as bad as scrubs fans if not worse.....From the minute I got on the red line at Grand ave i was surrounded.....Every flyout was like I was at wrigley filed watching from under the upperdeck, i guess they have every right to be on thier high horse, but the way they watch a baseball game is strikingly resembling to a cubs fan......The only thing that made it better was when Timo gunned out the runner at third I thought the run hadnt crossed the plate yet and I went buck.....got up then i guess i flailed my arms and hit a boston fans beer and spilled some on him....then after I apologized and got him another beer, he had the nerve to tell me "you need to calm the f*** down, its only a baseball game"
