Yes, games! DSL starts today. Remember pitch counts are not real there or at least in the past they were wrong.

Ok. Pitchers get 30 days to rehab. Position players 20. Drohan first pitched May 10 so about a little over a week more.
-
Another question for all this time. How long /when does Drohan's rehab assignment end? Interesting as a former Red Sox, he gets the win over Bailey Horn the former WS.

Maybe we should put the front office in glasses and then they might discover what a baseball player looks like instead of squinting and saying "yep that kinda looks like a player"

I know Grant Taylor had high first round potential if he had been healthy and pitched like was hoped.
Yes Pallette and Taylor were the two I was thinking about.

James, the last two years we have taken injured pitchers who were " first round talent if not hurt " in the second. Since we have an extra pick this year, is there anyone out there that might fit that profile?

I hope they go BPA in the first even if it is a pitcher. You never have enough pitching and with the league wide shortage any surplus can fill your position player needs. We seem decent at developing pitching as well so unless things have changed in position player development could you argue pitching (injury risk) is no riskier than position player (poor development history)?

Umpire auditor had him ranked last in mlb. The called strike three in first clip was almost 7 inches outside and furthest they had seen.

Luis Reyes
The White Sox’s highest-paid pitcher of the 2023 signing class got off to a miserable start, but he righted the ship after a midseason shift to the bullpen.
Role G IP H BB K ERA OPS Starter 9 15.1 27 19 21 14.09 1.339 Reliever 7 22.1 11 11 28 2.42 .427 Reyes was regularly throwing three to four innings an appearance by the end of the season, so it’s not like the White Sox spent $700,000 of international money to attempt to fast-track a reliever (we think). The question is whether he showed enough to jump to stateside pitching next season.
Seems the biggest news from this entire article (Reyes was ranked 41st in his intl class) was that they signed Juan Uribe, Jr., hoping to get an "in" on the Dominican players who will be training at his father's newly-opened training academy down there in the DR.
Really weird. He averaged less than two innings as a starter but over three as a reliever. Got shelled today though still young.
