Well first, we have Crede under control until after the '08 season so that shouldn't be a huge concern right now. Also he said that he will dictate any deal not his agent. One more thing on this, JR is not afraid to spend money and Crede is now emerging as a very good 3B, JR will give him what he deserves in a long term contract, no doubt. I don't think there's a lot of people who want to move Fields, the guy has finally turned it on this year and is absolutley kicking ass in AAA but if he can be moved for a very large piece, stud player, that could help the Sox win this year while we're still in prime position to compete for a title it has to be considered. Fields is a great prospect right now and it's great that he's comming around, hell it'd be awesome to see him replace Pods in LF eventually but if he can be moved for a stud major leaguer who would help solidify the big league team I'd be all for moving him in a trade.

Like I've been saying for quite some time now Jermaine Dye is the best hitter in baseball and as of now he is the MVP of the American League. Most hillarious inning I've seen all year, batter after batter stepped to the plate and each of them came through. The Tigers announcers were in disbelief which just added to the hilarity.

Who was it that said Brian Anderson hadn't won a game all year with his glove? This game was won by BA, the guy my suck total ass at the plate but he does not bring it with him to the outfield.

Honestly, as much as I love Frank and I truely do. I'd take Thome over him any day of the week and twice on Sunday, especially in the long run. I just think Thome has been so damn good that he's made Dye and Konerko that much better this season. I'm not so sure Frank would have that same effect.

He's the 6th starter and one of the best out of very few good arms out of the pen plus he'll be in the rotation next year more than likely. Moving him for a position that the Sox are strong at in the Minors (OF) would be a huge mistake and would create a ton of wholes in the current and future teams.
