Also, he gives up a ricockulous amount of HRs, he'd be giving them up left and right at the Cell while walking everyone else he faces.

Wasn't it the Mariners who asked for McCarthy in exchange for Villone? I remember last trade deadline he was the hot name on the market at reliever and the Marlins ended up getting him for some great talent I believe Yorman Bazardo and Mike Flannery.
