  1. And some of you wonder why people don't respect Sox fans.
  2. QUOTE(CardsJimEdmonds15 @ May 21, 2006 -> 02:10 PM) Pujols just hit his 22nd.. lol wow! 54 RBI unfair.
  3. QUOTE(ChiSox @ May 21, 2006 -> 02:08 PM) Did anyone happen to record this in HD? I totally forgot the game was on FOX. Fox' HD was horrible yesterday, it was poor quality and kept cutting out. I ended up switching over to non-HD because the HD was so bad.
  4. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ May 21, 2006 -> 01:56 PM) The problem with Anderson was that he missed Barrett. He had every right to go after Barrett, but the fracas with Mabry wasnt really a good idea. He actually connected, BA glanced Barrett's left eye. After that Mabry started slapping him which lead to Brian popping him in the head a few times.
  5. Haha, Moose tells some of the best f***ing stories.
  6. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:23 AM) If I am ass licking a sig maker on soxtalk, that would just be taking a chapter out of your book. Touche.
  7. Comcast has a commercial tha features AJ and Barrett talking about Comcast HD. It was obviously filmed long ago because AJ's hair is hella short but it's just pretty damn ironic that they'd use the two catchers.
  8. QUOTE(knightni @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:45 AM) For whom, would you say? Nelson? Lopez.
  9. Jose also gave Ozzie 100% certainty that he is ready to go today.
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:13 AM) I swear it is like dealing with the Cubs fans when it comes to Frank... I forgot he can do no wrong... Carry on. Yeah you're probably right the big Skirt should just shut his f***ing mouth and go buy a new dress or something because he's a big woman and he should drink tea or something, go try on some shoes or *obligatory demeaning remark stating that Frank Thomas is anything but a man*.
  11. John Mabry, worst interview ever. He sounds like Rasheed Wallace, "I was on the bottom of the pile", "I was on the bottom of the pile."
  12. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 21, 2006 -> 03:00 AM) quit being such a little b**** :headshake Or you could just quit your asslicking, either one.
  13. Haha, John Mabry is starting today. Contreras has not yet told Ozzie that he is good to go today, gonna have ot wait a little while longer for confirmation.
  14. What exactly did he say that was so bad here? He pretty much just reiterated that he only had a problem with Kenny and not the fans. This will just be another way for people to rip on him even though he really didn't say s*** here.
  15. Barrett will be starting at catcher today.
  16. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 21, 2006 -> 10:05 AM) One of them will be gone before today's game starts. You're right Montero more than likely won't even be with the team today.
  17. QUOTE(G&T @ May 21, 2006 -> 09:57 AM) I don't want to see a Sox reliever get a fine or suspension for purposely throwing at someone. The pen is thin enough. Not that Barret doesn't deserve it but I can't see how it would help the Sox. What does it matter if Boone Logan or Augustin Montero get suspended? They are useless as relievers, might as well use them for something.
  18. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 21, 2006 -> 09:25 AM) Can somebody PLEASE tell me what AJP has done in his career to get the title of instigator? If he's such the agitator and instigator, how come I never heard about him until we signed him? If he was so big as to be close to a TO of the NFL, as it seems some people think he is, you would think I would have heard of him. What a joke. I'll give you one thing, you are pretty damn humorous.
  19. QUOTE(MayIHelpYouMrLennon? @ May 21, 2006 -> 01:03 AM) Zambrano will throw one behind AJ, and warning will be issued and things will get tense again. If somebody gets beaned it'll get ugly again. One fight is good enough for me in this series, lets get these wins and keep up w/ the Tigers until those Detroit f***s finally come back down to earth. If Zambrano throws a ball behind AJ he'll get tossed. Warnings will likely be issued before the game.
  20. QUOTE(SouthsideNorthsideFan @ May 21, 2006 -> 12:48 AM) 3 decent starts of longer than 7 innings (finally) helped those numbers. You conveniently forgot to mention 35BB, 6 dingers, a 1.43 WHIP, and a 5.80 ERA vs. lefties leading to a meager 2-2 in 9 starts. Oh, did I mention a 7.00 ERA in day games? Yes, you are correct he has had control issues leading to a large increase in walks and thus an inflated WHIP. I'm not really sure why you'd mention his splits, I guess he sucks against lefties during the day which isn't exactly the sign of a bad pitcher. It is encouraging for his sake that he has not allowed a lot of hits to go along with those walks and the fact that he's striking out a s*** load of batters means that those walks that he's allowing are not comming around to score which shows up in his solid ERA. Zambrano has not sucked ass this year at all according to his stats but I guess since he's a Cub he must automatically suck, my bad. Also by looking at his game log I only see 2 real bad starts 4.2 IP w/ 5 ER and 4 IP w/ 7 ER, 8.2 IP and 12 ER in two starts is going to f*** yp your ERA pretty bad.
  21. QUOTE(SouthsideNorthsideFan @ May 21, 2006 -> 12:36 AM) lmfao...the only ones who should be worried about Zamboni are the Cubs fans...cuz he's sucked ass this year... 3.34 ERA, 62K, .221 BAA. HORRRIBLE!
  22. Yes, but I believe in this case he's being taken out of context just a bit.
  23. The box behind him in the big pic is bothersome, atleast to me it is and that's all that really matters.
