In a post for The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestlezone), Dave Meltzer reported that Destination America has been losing interest and support with TNA due to its low ratings. TNA is still one of their highest rated shows but the network reportedly expected higher numbers. This is why they pulled TNA’s Saturday shows and moved Impact to Wednesday nights. On the forums for F4WOnline, it was asked how DA could cancel Impact if TNA has a two-year deal. Meltzer said that Destination America has an out clause in September. I think with the move to Wednesday already things are not looking good.

Glad Sox won last night needed that with Danks going tonight.

Manager Robin Ventura said David Robertson was given Friday off simply because of his heavy workload earlier this week. Robertson pitched Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so Ventura explained that he thought a second straight day off was needed Friday. That doesn't necessarily mean there's nothing physical going on -- Robertson did have some forearm soreness this spring -- but hopefully it just was the rest issue. Per Rotoworld

David Robertson was held out of a save opportunity Friday against the Athletics. Zach Duke instead pitched the ninth for his first save, barely escaping when a rundown between home and third accounted for the final out. That Robertson didn't pitch or even warm up certainly suggests an injury or illness was involved. Per Rotoworld
