  1. If you cannot beat the Twins then it will be a very long season.
  2. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ May 2, 2015 -> 02:24 PM) Fangraphs' base running stat entering today: 29. Rockies -3.6 runs 30. White Sox -6.6 runs Hahaha so bad. That is with De Aza gone
  3. Suzuki until today had not thrown anybody out all yr. Sox now 4 for 11 in SB...........Coleman the man.
  4. Can we stop pissing around with Danks/Noesi in the rotation, one has to come out.
  5. NY replay is a joke for the Sox they are out same play for other teams safe.
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 2, 2015 -> 01:35 PM) We are all very surprised at this Good for you KY
  7. QUOTE (reiks12 @ May 2, 2015 -> 01:37 PM) whens the last time the sox hit a home run Sept 1983
  8. Bears selected Penn State DB Adrian Amos with the No. 142 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft. Amos (6'1/218) played the boundary, slot, and safety for the Nittany Lions, starting 38 games and compiling 9.0 career TFLs, three sacks, and seven interceptions. He wasn't beaten for a single touchdown pass as a senior. Amos ran 4.56 at the Combine, but showed short-area quicks with a 4.03 short shuttle. Amos improved his forty to 4.39 at the PSU Pro Day and has extensive special teams experience. Amos is a bit of a tweener defensive back, but his versatility should get him on the field early. Not a fan of day 3
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ May 2, 2015 -> 11:57 AM) if you want to cry look at our slugging percentage. 12 HR's dead last
  10. Bears selected Michigan State RB Jeremy Langford with the No. 106 overall pick in the 2015 draft. Langford (6'0/208) succeeded Le'Veon Bell as the Spartans' bellcow, rushing 577 times for 2,967 yards (5.14 YPC) and 40 TDs. He added 39 receptions in his college career. Langford ran the fastest forty (4.42) among running backs at the Combine, but had pedestrian numbers in the broad jump (9'10") and three-cone drill (4.22). Langford doesn't play as fast as he timed and lacks tackle-breaking ability, which severely curtails his chances of becoming a lead NFL back. He does have soft hands and is a willing pass blocker, so perhaps Langford will carve out a career on passing downs. He'll compete with Ka'Deem Carey and Jacquizz Rodgers for reps. RB 2nd straight year in round 4 for Bears............Forte UFA after 2015 This pick seems like a reach to me.
  11. Nolasco will come off DL to dominate.
  12. QUOTE (flavum @ May 1, 2015 -> 10:27 PM) Sort the runs/game column. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/MLB/2015.shtml Sox are miles from just league average in a lot of areas.
  13. QUOTE (flavum @ May 1, 2015 -> 10:10 PM) One thing is for sure....20 years from now people will chuckle at how bad of a manager Robin Ventura was, and how ridiculous it was he got the job and how long he kept it. Tell you what is sadder Sox will probably hire another ex Sox player with no experience to replace him.
  14. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ May 1, 2015 -> 08:37 PM) He's the best all around NT in the draft. Shelton is a pure space eater. Did you ever watch FSU? Yes and everyone that talks about him says he will come out in nickel and dime situations because he is not a pass rusher.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 1, 2015 -> 09:48 PM) There's no way Hahn can just sit on his ass and watch this team continue to suck in every aspect of the game and keep trotting Ventura out there. Problem is Williams has final say and it time his ass goes along with Ventura.
  16. QUOTE (oldsox @ May 1, 2015 -> 09:46 PM) They should have let Avi try to score on Beckham's hit. Flowers' result was predictable. Soto should of PH for Flowers I do not get RV at all.
  17. Every pitcher Sox face is player of the game f***ing joke!
  18. This team is DOA again tonight. Thank you Flowers you cost the Sox 3 runs tonight.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ May 1, 2015 -> 09:37 PM) Jose just didn't have his head in the game tonight. Awful at bats He has not been in the game the last 3.
