  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 08:43 PM) Cowboys Eagles flexed to primetime next week. Bears Packers could still be moved to 300 though. So tired of networks kissing Cowboys ass all the time 1 playoff win in what 15 years.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 08:17 PM) Pretty sure the reports today said he's really not close and the bone isn't healing like they want. Too much of a chance that he can get reinjured. He will play next week wait and see.
  3. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 08:05 PM) Are the Eagles that good or the Bears that bad?!??!?! lol Bears defense is a sieve.
  4. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 07:57 PM) Aren't the first 15 plays scripted no matter what? Yep
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 07:24 PM) Yes. Thanks, brain fart. Think I'm too pumped for this game. I think all Bear fans are hyped up for tonight.
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) Considering how this season has gone, you could not ask for a better scenario You are correct sir!
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 07:08 PM) Correct. A Bears win clinches the 3 seed, because they would have had to head tiebreaker over both Philly and Detroit. Every other team will be playing for position or a berth You mean Philly and Dallas..............Detroit is bye bye. Bears just need to take care of business.
  8. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 08:41 AM) The individual mandate is being (partially) delayed http://www.nationaljournal.com/health-care...r-some-20131219 I like how Obama picks and chooses what part of the law he wants to enforce.
  9. I hope Sox can contend, but 2014 is going to be growing pains type year and that is fine with me. Starting in 2015 and hopefully for longtime after be right in the mix. I really like the direction and future of the Sox under Hahn.
  10. Downs would be a nice addition to the bullpen.
  11. QUOTE (Frank_Thomas35 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 09:53 PM) High praise from Nightengale: The #WhiteSox have improved more than anyone in #MLB the last 6 months with acquistions of 1B Abreu, RF Garcia, CF Eaton and 3B Davidson. Indeed
  12. Before signing with the Braves for $4MM with an additional $4.5MM in incentives, starter Gavin Floyd reportedly turned down a two-year offer from the Orioles that could have reached $20MM in value with incentives, reports Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun. In an interesting reversal of the usual bargaining positions of player and team, Connolly writes that Baltimore was not interested in giving a one-year deal to Floyd (who is still working back from Tommy John surgery) because it sought to secure another season at a reasonable price. Meanwhile, the previously-durable righty chose the shorter-term deal, presumably hoping to prove his health and command multiple years when he enters next season's free agent market at age 31. 13. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 01:48 PM) I like this trade a lot better than the Eaton trade. Like the aggressiveness - yes, the K's are a concern. Like most here, I'll evaluate RH based on the effectiveness of the players we've acquired. But, I like this one on paper. Seeing this, I'm going to be an optimist and believe there's a plan in place for a C that just hasn't happened yet. Hahn is not done yet not by a longshot.
