  1. Only MLB team without a road win YEAH...........Cy Myers
  2. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 14, 2013 -> 12:20 PM) It is still possible, but very doubtful. Sox keep playing and managing like this, I hate to say it but it becomes more real every game I see.
  3. This could be a winless road trip.
  4. Sox are in one hell of a funk. 1-0 Clev
  5. Bor-ASS time you got a little of your own medicine. I love it.
  6. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Apr 13, 2013 -> 01:05 PM) The players haven't been executing at all. That's the only reason this thread exists. Robin not doing his job is alot of the reason this thread exists. 3 losses this year already are 100% on Robin.
  7. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 13, 2013 -> 07:12 PM) What a s***ty way to start a season. Sox marketing team must be so pissed Yep people will not want to see this product If the losses continue. Today marked the first time the Sox have lost their first five games on the road since 1972
  8. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 12, 2013 -> 08:29 PM) Oh you can smell the total rebuild posts coming soon. Rebuild or no rebuild it is becoming clear Robin is not the guy to lead them. I have lost all faith in him.
  9. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 12, 2013 -> 08:27 PM) #4(*&@^ This team frustrates the piss out of me. No reason what so ever to lose 1-0 to this s***ty Cleveland team. Can't execute any damn fundamentals, can't bunt, can't hit with RISP, managerial abomination, #@%%@#%$ They keep playing and Robin managing like this they will not see over .500 again this year.
  10. This team loves to lose games by a run.
  11. Only 2 hits against tonight and Sox are in jeopardy of losing.
  12. AR fails bunting way too much. Cleveland due to score.
  13. Pitchers duel in the cold.
  14. Dylan Axelrod was lit up for six runs in 3 2/3 innings by the Nationals on Thursday. We're not sure what the White Sox were doing intentionally walking Bryce Harper with two outs in the fourth, but they were punished for it, as Ryan Zimmerman plated both Jayson Werth and Harper on his double. Axelrod was pulled immediately afterwards with the White Sox down 6-3. He wasn't very good at all tonight, but maybe he would have given up just the four runs if not for the over-managing from Robin Ventura. Per Rotoworld.....................even they say Robin is a problem.
  15. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 09:30 PM) if he goes to the pen in the 5th inning of every game, how long do you think the bullpen is going to hold up? Let the starters give up 6 plus runs a game at least the pen will be rested! Still a loss.
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 09:11 PM) And outmanaged. Every single decision Ventura made backfired, seemingly. I blame Ventura for all 3 losses his handling of the starters was awful.
  17. Span just destroys the Sox ............he will go 1-16 come the Braves series. Time for a Crainwreck.
  18. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 08:50 PM) Lindstrom was a great pickup He has been the cat's ass.
  19. This game has another 1 run loss all over it.
  20. Leave some more on base this is maddening.
  21. Nats announcers shocked that Santiago hit for himself. They said thank you.
  22. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 07:58 PM) There are few circumstances where I pull my starter in the fourth inning before he's given up a run in that inning. EDIT: The mistake here is having him starting in the first place, and I have a feeling Robin has less say in that than we think. The GM will have a huge say in that, as well as the pitching coach. Hard to say whose vision it was for Axe to be in the rotation. Axelrod was toast he should of been yanked after Haren double.
