  1. Only 2 hits against tonight and Sox are in jeopardy of losing.
  2. AR fails bunting way too much. Cleveland due to score.
  3. Pitchers duel in the cold.
  4. Dylan Axelrod was lit up for six runs in 3 2/3 innings by the Nationals on Thursday. We're not sure what the White Sox were doing intentionally walking Bryce Harper with two outs in the fourth, but they were punished for it, as Ryan Zimmerman plated both Jayson Werth and Harper on his double. Axelrod was pulled immediately afterwards with the White Sox down 6-3. He wasn't very good at all tonight, but maybe he would have given up just the four runs if not for the over-managing from Robin Ventura. Per Rotoworld.....................even they say Robin is a problem.
  5. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 09:30 PM) if he goes to the pen in the 5th inning of every game, how long do you think the bullpen is going to hold up? Let the starters give up 6 plus runs a game at least the pen will be rested! Still a loss.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 09:11 PM) And outmanaged. Every single decision Ventura made backfired, seemingly. I blame Ventura for all 3 losses his handling of the starters was awful.
  7. Span just destroys the Sox ............he will go 1-16 come the Braves series. Time for a Crainwreck.
  8. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 08:50 PM) Lindstrom was a great pickup He has been the cat's ass.
  9. This game has another 1 run loss all over it.
  10. Leave some more on base this is maddening.
  11. Nats announcers shocked that Santiago hit for himself. They said thank you.
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 07:58 PM) There are few circumstances where I pull my starter in the fourth inning before he's given up a run in that inning. EDIT: The mistake here is having him starting in the first place, and I have a feeling Robin has less say in that than we think. The GM will have a huge say in that, as well as the pitching coach. Hard to say whose vision it was for Axe to be in the rotation. Axelrod was toast he should of been yanked after Haren double.
  13. How many games are Sox going to lose over and over because Robin leaves a guy in a inning too long this is BS! Nats go no problem getting hits with 2 outs.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 07:50 PM) The fact Peavy admitted he ran out of gas and then allowed the homer to LaRoche on Tuesday night was one of the more frustrating quotes in a while. Robin has no idea how to manage a pitching staff and it has showed from day 1. I feel it cost Sox the playoffs in 12.
  15. I have had about enough of Robin training on the job.
  16. Dunn continues to be a RISP killer.
  17. Giving up a run a inning not working.
  18. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 07:13 PM) This is all on Robin. Dylan Axelrod is NOT a Major League pitcher. Hector Santiago should have been the #5 starter since the beginning. His ignorance and stubbornness is going to cost the team another win. Robin has been outmanaged the whole series.
  19. Axelrod not getting one boarderline call tonight.
  20. If Sox played Nats 20 times they would be lucky to win 5 games.
